    Hi, thought I'd mention that the Soomepoisid (Jakaari equivalent in 122. Infanterie) still hasn't gotten Shock on the new patch although you wanted to bring it up to the Devs. Maybe it slipped through their notice and you could remind them again :)

      Unfortunately they will not be getting shock. I made the argument, but apparently they are not Finnish elite but Estonian volunteers, which is why they are not receiving the same treatment

    Halftracks are actually quite powerful even in real life, but you rarely hear stories outside of US usage. You can check out some story from battle of the bulge on operation room’s channel.
    In one of the stories US troops charge into a defended village in halftracks with infantry blasting away with their rifles from inside the vehicle, with some dismounting to clear positions they flanked, they managed to take the village with relatively small casualty.

      At the start of the war germans did the same thing sometimes even with only trucks with some mechanized troops in halftracks leading the way. Form what i read it was used very effectively at the start of the barbarossa enveloping entire battlegroups of soviets

    best thing about 28th is the sturmjager, hs-129 and the 300mm nebels, and we didnt even see the hs129, or actual use of the 300mm besides the one shot that did something

    my reason for not bringing out HS 129s is because i knew itd be very hard to kill the mobile aa so he could quite easily shut it down (when you said there was no AA down south tehre was a crusader you missed). My micro on the arty was definitely quite off, but the division's depth for infantry and support pulled through in the end luckily, gg!

    Churchill IV would've dealt much better with the StuGs in some of these close range slugfests... I think it's a mistake not to bring some. Also an early typhoon could've racked up a lot of essential kills on some of the nuisance support weapons. Felt like a bit of an overspam of rifles and they didn't have the firepower to break through.

    • @atkpwrgaming

      I would agree with that assessment, I was shocked we didn't see any air force from the scotts

    Interesting match-up. Sadly, a favorite of mine, the scots, lost this one. But deserved so no bad feeling. I'm looking forward to the new dlc and enjoyed your apparent giddy-ness.

    what puts out more damage - typhoon mk1b or p-38j-15 answer - both the same. 1B = 5.42 x .50% x 2400r/m = 6504. P-38J = 464.4 + 6048 = 6512.4 @ 800m and both the same speed so 95pts v 130pts for resilience and maybe slightly better turning circle

    Felt like Churchills just traded so poorly into the StuGs, Marders, and PaK 40s who's APCR even countered the Heavy Churchills

    • @wafflekopf9429
      @wafflekopf9429 6 месяцев назад

      Yeah, the Churchill VI is really poor at fighting Axis armour and while the Churchill VII is pretty tanky, it's not like a Jumbo that can shrug off almost anything. Churchill IV would've traded much better against the StuGs, but GhostDragon didn't bring any.

    Is it just me or are both of these battlegroups built very weirdly. Bros using up 1/5th of his activation points just to bring in 3 officers and 8 Sturmjagers in A. Why double vet A instead of B?

      @@kieranmorris9827 the question is what you'd take instead of it, I don't believe there is much of anything else in the div that would've been very helpful in the matchup.

    Hello ATKPOWER- you were saying piats have 200m range in the game- is this true or did i hear nwrong.- the piat was a stupid weapon- a giant spring launches the grenade-ridiculous- 200 meters is 4 swimming pools-no bloody way could a piat hit this- i would suggest under 50m is realistic- i know the game has to be balanced but antitank weapons hitting beyond 50m, whatever type they might be is total bs unless they are a gun-give realism a chance -100m range for at weapons- 2 swimming pools- this is bs but perhaps forgivable

    • @czwarty7878
      @czwarty7878 6 месяцев назад

      For a "ridiculous" weapon they destroyed quite a number of german vehicles on every front. Direct-fire effective range was up to 100-150 meteres but this game adds 50-100m as "sneaking" range that gunner could close in, similar to how throwables have 100 meter range.
      The real ridiculous thing about this game is how throwable AT grenades (which were called by soldiers in WWII "suicide weapons" due to their low effectiveness and close to suicidal risk the thrower had to undertake to get it close to tank, not even mention hitting an accurate throw) are more effective, more accurate and fired much faster than ranged weapons (like Panzerfaust or PIAT). Now this is ridiculous

    • @dominuslogik484
      @dominuslogik484 6 месяцев назад

      the faustpatrone 100 had a range of 100 meters reliably and most panzer Faust were technically good out to 150 meters per there design specifications. as for the Piat it had an effective range of 105 meters and a maximum range of 320 meters, I would argue the poor accuracy of the weapon is to take into account that it is firing beyond its effective range yet well within its maximum.
      The Bazooka was listed with an effective range of 140 meters and a maximum of around 340 meters as well but you also should take into account in this game that the smallest measurements that matter are 100 meters. after all it would be impossible to throw a heavy anti tank grenade 100 meters but the infantry do because the game requires that to work. it also is a bit silly a machinegun can't shoot someone within 100 meters at that is basically like saying someone at the opposite end of a football field is too close to shoot with a machinegun which obviously isn't true but you have to remember this is a game.

    • @wyverngaming3468
      @wyverngaming3468 6 месяцев назад

      The PIAT also works like a spigot mortar. It has recoil and propellant. The spring is part of the firing mechanism but not what propels the projectile.

    • @nunocordovamarcos2961
      @nunocordovamarcos2961 6 месяцев назад

      Agree. The accuracy beyond 100m shoulb be infamously low or ridiculous

    • @redgaarden8101
      @redgaarden8101 6 месяцев назад +1

      Just to clarify. 100m in this game is so short that the inf models will be in front and back of the tank physically, and still not able to shoot.
      Like inf can spread like 300 meters when on the move.
