Your calm sense of humor in tackling the hedgehog and koala made this a very fun engaging tutorial. I love the way you deal with mistakes as just part 9f the process. Thank you for taking the fear out of the challenge. Love it.
I love this series! You explain it better because it’s new to you too. It isn’t a practiced painting so watching you figure it out makes it more interesting and you break it down beautifully. Plus it’s good to know artists have areas of insecurity like most of us do.
Thanks! They are adorable, great job. 👏👏
Please do a chameleon and a seahorse! Those should be more than colorful enough 😁
Great tutorial Emma! I painted your hedgehog for my mum's birthday card and she loved it. Your style is great and you're a fab teacher. Thanks again!
These animals all came out really cute. I think it would be nice if we could see the photos as you paint them. Maybe put them over the paint pallet. It would be great to be seeing what you are seeing.
Thanks!!
He’s fabulous ! Love this little hedgehog
You are like my art trainer. Your tutorials force me to do things that are hard. Like drawing. I hate to draw and I can't get things to look the way I want to. But I love that you teach how to draw and encourage me to give it a shot. I want to try these both again to try to get them cuter.
I must have missed this one!! You did a great job Emma!!! I would LOVE to see you paint any sea creature !!!
Yes please! Love these videos including the length. Koala is gorgeous and I love the use of pen and ink. Maybe a bush baby, sugar glider, tree frog, heron, puffin....?
I love the idea of a puffin!!, Koala is really cute.
Thank you. Yes please more animal when you have the time. Were watching, learning and taking on the challenges with you.
Girl, you are so cute, love watching your videos. You're so good, and great at explaining as you go along. Thank you.
Love to see you painting animals, so cute and you make it look simple even when you are struggling 😊. An elephant would be nice even though they are not so colorful
Thanks
Yes for more animal tutorials! Australian animals? Kangaroo, wallaby, emu, etc?
Oh Emma, he is so so cute. I love hedgehogs and you have done a great job. Your tutorials are so inspirational and I just love listening to you, your voice is so calming and soothing and I often drift off and have to rewind the tutorial!!! Keep them coming 💕🌷
Koala was great, they are cute but odd when I lived in Aus they were amazing to see. Both really inspiring
So very cute with equal personalities!
Very very stinking cute. Well done. 👍👍

Now I think it won't be so hard to do it 😉 thank you so much for the inspiration and sharing your experience ☺️❤️ have a wonderful day Emma, it was nice to meet you and I know I will be here a lot! 💖☺️💖
Thank you for inspiration. I too found a photo of coala online and did the full watercolor painting. I love it!
Id like you to do a pecock or macaw. Ithink they would be really cool.

Awesome! He is adorable😊😊
LOVE! Thank you for doing subjects that aren't your favorite!
I love it when I accidentally make my animals look angry.... yay for blotting and redoing! I don’t think animals are too scary and I love this series. It shows all of us things aren’t as scary as they seem either.
'The tale of Mrs Tiggywinkle' by Beatrice Potter is your hedgehog to a Whisker Emma !! I would have her in my garden any time. also thought your Koala was really good . I love how you challenge yourself and share with us. Thank you for your inspiration

Both cute! More? Yes please.

Love it!
So so cute! Thanks for painting them😊
Great job Emma. How about endangered animals?
Cute!
This was so fun to watch! I thought they all turned out so cute! I just starting painting (your videos have been SO HELPFUL) so I decided to paint along with you and painted a blue jay. It was good considering it was my first, but it was still semi-hideous. I had a lot of fun though! Painting is a lot harder than it looks. I really loved your animals.
I think you have done an amazing job... I love hedgehog lady/boy x
They are great. Sloth
Very cute and well done I think they both turned out good would make cute cards, what about adding a frog to your list !!!!
They are so adorable i love them 💙💚💛💜
They are so cute ,I would love you to paint a peacock with it’s feathers open please 🌈
Thank you for putting up the rest of this video 😍
Is it a re-upload?
Haha yes, I don’t know what happened last time! Didn’t export properly
Lovely 😍❤️
You are doing great with the 'things that scare you'. Thank you for sharing.
Just a note about cadmium paints: they are toxic. Cadmium Hues are their replacements. I notice you use cadmium paints and felt a little concerned since you let your son paint too.
Thank you for letting me know
@@EmmaLefebvre Your welcome.
They look so cute 😻
Naw 🥰 two of my favorite animals!
I'm only 11 minutes in but I love your hedgehog ❤
Cute
I am having the worst confusion/de ja vu right now....
I thought this was posted right after the 1st set of animals, a few days ago. Same reference images, etc... Still adorable results - mine woulda looked a zillion times worse (like, blobs 😆)... but I'm still wondering why I swear I watched this earlier this week.
I was but something but happened when I exported the video and it only posted half of it. So here’s the whole video! Gotta love technology
@@EmmaLefebvre OMG, thank you! I'm sorry, I spaced the lack of ending on the 1st upload. Lol. I have some rather bad memory problems (as if it's not obvious!), and your 1st upload problems went into the memory black hole, I remembered the hedgehog so well, and I guess my brain decided cus I'd seen THAT, I'd also seen all of the koala, too lol - even though it was the 1st time for a chunk of it. Oopsies lol.
Thank you for clearing up my confusion. It really sucks when you hit one of these moments and start questioning literally EVERYTHING lol.
Thank you, also... watching your videos has gotten me back into watercolor.. again, I'm really lousy at it, but I'm having fun and getting to be creative, and to me, that's the best.
@@abigailphoenixthepaperaddi2501 haha no worries. I’m so glad you’re enjoying it
How about a hippocampus?
Beautiful animals, you might give parot a go.
Love them Emma, have you painted any squirrels please?
Koalas are hard to do! Did one for my zoo book and it took me forever to get it right!
You are perfect !!! How can I show you my work?
Так мило🤩
I do not know why you hesitate doing animals. You have done fabulous!
And that is one fat hamburger!
Paint a red fox.
💜 Loving this. Hoping maybe some day you'll have the ability to have an inset of your reference photo as you're drawing it.
I did a (Prisma)color pencil groundhog & entered it into our last county fair-1st place. I think it'd be much harder to do pet animals, as you have to get the personality in it that the owner sees. Right?
In similar situations, I take a screen shot of the reference photo and then print it out. Works great.
@@bikentrike ~Good idea. I don't have a printer though. LOL. BUT, now that my granddaughter has it so that I can get RUclips on my TV, I could have screenshoted it on my phone & have that pic, on (my phone) in front of me while the video plays on the TV. 😃 Thanks, I'm a little slow sometimes LOL ~Kathie in Lebanon,Tennessee
Have you ever tried an Owl??
No! I will have to!
lovely. what brushes do you use ? thanks .

You seriously need to stop putting your work down. Video after video you’re always pointing out that you don’t like your painting. How do you expect your viewers to feel? Just paint it. Love what you do and don’t constantly hate it or point out the negatives. Keep going. If you need to fix something, then fix it. You’ve also said that you have no patience. Well, some paintings take patience. Some take longer than others. It seems you worry more about how long the video will be instead of creating a nicely finished piece. You’re rushing sometimes. Slow down and enjoy the process. You also break my concentration when you point out the dog is barking or some other noise someone made or something outside or whatever. Ignore it and keep going. I don’t even hear the noises until you point them out. I’m focused on what you’re doing more than I am the noises in the background.
Are you normally this rude? Anything positive to say? Maybe this channel just isn't for you. Lots of other ones out there.
My point exactly. If the artist is negative about their own work, what is there to be positive about? It’s not my job to provide validation on each and every video. It’s up to the artist to find positive things about their work on their own. It has to come from within. This video was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I was tired of hearing how much she dislikes her work. Paintings always go through an ugly stage. It’s something that’s part of the normal process. And, you are correct....it’s much more enjoyable to watch other artists who enjoy the process, don’t rush, and like their paintings.
@@ladyt1277 Wow! Good job on totally missing what I was saying. Emma does a great teaching job. I've watched quite a few of her videos and have not seen what you're talking about. I'm sure the great majority of her 251,000 followers feel the same. I stand by my previous statement. Keep on keeping on Emma you're doing great!
I didn’t miss a thing. You asked me if I had any positive....if the artist doesn’t have a positive, why should I? Hit the nail on the head. Painting koi fish on black paper. “In my opinion it’s a fail” - her words, not mine. Yet, it’s a really pretty painting. Started out painting the koala...she hated it. She said it, not me. I could go on and on, but I’d have to go back through her videos to name each one. Again, much more enjoyable to watch someone who actually loves their work instead of listening to how much they hate their work. Not very encouraging as a teacher.
