    Love your channel! very easy to watch, and your patterns work great here in Utah USA on the Provo river! Caught some GREAT fish nymphing with 3 flies, brown perdigon of some kind, blood worm and emerger. Or two flies, bloodworm and pheasant tail nymph. Wish you could come out and do some fishing with me +)

      Thanks so much. I wish i could come there too. Its quite a famous river. However, i would probably fish just one fly 😀 thats what i like. Not about being purist of any sort... Just habit.

    Great video Vladimir. I didn't mind that the video was long cause you put 4 different techniques into one instead of watching 4 separate videos. Quality flies right there!!! Love CDC. And those hooks are nice, gonna have to try them out. Hvala vam!!

      Thanks a lot... I was experimenting with the hook.... But i see this hook great for some parachutes too. And some buzzers .. 😀😀😀

    Thanx for the tipps again. Great looking variants and comnents about them ( golden tips) who wants to listen. Since the 502 is new for the majority of tyers make one video just about it for example where to find it/ trial and error/ , avoid it on finger tipps, be careful not to put drop by accident on full spool of thread like i did and completly destroyed it. ..

      @@fshng2114 i got just few fish so i cant tell for sure. When i get 100+ i will have more reliable sample to judge.
      So far very good. Stays sharp and penetrates easily... But... Its TMC... Never had issues with them.

      @Oholisfliesandfishing  3 года назад

      Hi, thanks for watching. And i am really surprised, not many women watch my videos. 😀😀 Glad to have you here.
      As for the hooks. I tried them several times here for army fish and tilapia with mixed success. Mostly because i am fishing them unconventionaly. Meaning i strip the dry across or slightly under the surface. Now, having takes from mostly small fish i have lots of missed strikes.... But i think this hook will be amazing for grayling and trout.
      Cheers

    Thanks Vladi for the video. I tie the first pattern and add the exuvia (trailing shuck) to it, imitating an emergent of Ephemeroptera, but it is practically very similar. Could the third pattern be a chironomid or something similar? Thank you very much for your magnificent contributions. Greetings.

    • @Oholisfliesandfishing
      @Oholisfliesandfishing  3 года назад +1

      Thank you for watching it. 😀😀😀 Trailing shuck is veru useful so i am sure your pattern is great too.
      How i see things... All patterns could represent chironomids... Just adjust size.
      😀😀🙏
      Cheers and stay healthy

    Hi Vladimir. Thank you for all your videos - they are great. I have a question; have you fished with these new hooks yet? I wonder how good the hook setting properties are with the long "overhang " by the eye?

    I’d liked to see one of the Caddis flies with snowshoe in dubbing loop in place of dubbing. Keep cdc but snowshoe added.

    i have not tried accelerator on my CA for flies, even though I have it right here...lol will do, I find that UV resins are more of a plastic shell , hardly any *adhesive* quality . ( I have only used Loon Thin.)

    • @Oholisfliesandfishing
      @Oholisfliesandfishing  3 года назад

      I think ur right. Hardly any adhesion. One reason more to use superglue.
      Ps: whats accelerator on CA(superglue)?
