This set was way ahead of its time. For the most part it still holds up pretty well. I’m glad you were able to get your white whale set!(i know you’ve had it for a while but still lol)
Nothing comes close to the overwhelming emotion of getting your hands on your #1 most wanted set of all time. I had that same experience earlier this year, for a set I've wanted for 23 years. Congratulations!
I would prefer them to do modular-style individual sets for each store if I'm honest. I'd quite like a large Borgin & Burke. This set came out when I was coming out of my Dark Ages, and I could have gotten it back then. And I stupidly didn't. Needless to say, now I regret it. Not because I find it amazing, but because I would like to have a complete collection ahahah
As I was tired of waiting for a remake and can’t afford the old set, I build my own gringotts, adding the modern goblets. It turned out really good, so if Lego doesn’t include very exiting features I might pass on a remake…
I bought the Borden and burges building part out from the set for really cheap. I cleaned it and rebuilt it n stored it for a year. And just last week I took it out and used its parts to make a small modular build to fit in my floating air city.
That’s a great set! Was always a fan of how it looks. Do have diagonal alley? And do you think they’ll do a new version. Or rather when? I’d like to see it done I’m a way that matches the recent dragon alley set personally. That would be cool! Great to hear your passion for the set!
I got this one on clearance for €140 when I was a teenager… this was so expensive for me back then and it was amazing that I managed to get it! I still feel like it holds up to today’s standards as well, although if remade today, it would have more smaller details added probably.
Even after eleven and two thirds years, the 5x4x2 wall element in black is still exclusive to this set. Only one other set would have Dumbledore's hair in tan (4867) later that year. This was also the first appearance of the whip outside of its origin in the Indiana Jones theme.
Crazy how so many high quality sets came out when we were kids, but we couldnt afford them. Now that we're adults that can afford them, the sets are out of production or the quality just isnt the same.
With Gringots coming out next year would u like it to be completely modular and to scale with other city buildings or would u rather it be slightly smaller and maybe act as a companion piece to the other Diagon alley set and include some of the building/areas we didn’t get ?

Personally always loved this set. Keep up the great videos!
So happy I bought that set back when it released. 🙌

For Malfoys cane, use the tiny skull from the new Hospital Wing set.

Cool video! I’m so happy you got this set! It’s so rare!!!
I think maybe the wanted poster could be showing Serius Black, even though he is not super easy to make out.

You should place gringotts at the end of the other diagon alley and then build like a sideway to it too borgin and burke 😄

Nice review! I really hope we can eventually get newer versions of both Gringotts and Borgin and Burkes. Something we can add to the alley we have. 👍
I got 2 of the Demon winged horse wagon, dropped the goats, and harnessed the flying demon horses!
24:13 Holly, I really like the transition
I’m brand new at Lego, do you guys save your boxes after you build a set?? Thanks
you can make an video to upgrade the minifigs
hello could you tell me how many minifigure do you have in your collection ? Thanks and stay healthy
This set is great and I’m happy I got to make it to some of the build streams :)
Can you also do a side by side comparison for diagon alley like you did with the hogwarts express?

Great set and review!
can you do a side by side comparison video? 2020 vs 2011
Love this set! Great review.
I think it is quite astonishing there is no Leaky Cauldron in Lego yet. 🤔
100% agree
Do you think Hermione will get a new braided hairpiece for the upcoming deathly hallows room of requirement set?
Great review Holly :)
10:26 they should have done it for SIRIUS BLACK!
definitely love the bank!
hi holly, how are you?
yesterday, I made a minifigure of you in lego.
Don't hesitate to take a look at this video!😉
Great video :)
I love this set ❤️❤️
Could you try to showcase both of the diagon alleys together? Btw love your vids!
I really want to later this year, might even include the original small diagon alley sets too
@@HollyOnFilm That would be amazin!!!
There is a new Gringotts bank now, but the set hold on price.
The Ollivander is crap.
The Burgin and Burkes is nice.
The Gringotts is awesome.
