    My brkther I've bought a forkstem mount from quad lock but I need to remove the middle fork stem nut. Will that yoke nut be compatible with a quad lock mount for my phone??? Let me know please

      Aqeel Teela Ali it’s not the yoke but that needs to be compatible. The cbr600 1mm yoke nut just allows you to plug things into it. Send me a photo of the quad lock kit which fits in the stem, message on Instagram buddy.

      +Evan JJ (NTFSTYLE) hey thanks man, finally someone showing some acknowledgement. Hahaha. The clutch bite on the CBR was really far, the adjustable levers were just £16 and I put it in 1 so its really close range now which helps me keep a good hold on the handlebar for better control.

      Cheers man, glad you enjoyed and found this useful.
      If its advertised for the cbr125 2012-2016 it should be fine, brake is very easy where as the clutch needs some fiddling. You doing much to your bike?

    • @tomrushforth3856
      @tomrushforth3856 8 лет назад

      Cheers for the advice. I've had it a few weeks and got plans for it. The plan includes; clutch/brake levers, clutch/brake guards, exhaust and ram mount. So far I've prioritised the stuff which so far is just tank protector and crash protectors (£130 :o). But I mainly spent my leftover money on gear. Gotta have them full leathers :P

    • @ArabianRider
      @ArabianRider  8 лет назад

      Haha yeah I got leathers, make sure you're has pockets. I made that mistake haha. The RAM Mount is easy to do, I've linked Motonosity's video on how to install. Exhausts, there are loads, as for the guards and crash protectors, if you unbolt the bar ends, be ready for a headache, you need a heat gun because they use glue, when you put them back in, Dont tighten it hard, you'll notice the throttle is stiff so find the right point and use the special bar end glue. Not sure if you knew, thought I'd mention it.

    • @tomrushforth3856
      @tomrushforth3856 8 лет назад

      I couldn't resist the repsol leathers ;) luckily it has one pocket, enough for a phone and my debit card ;D. I only ever wear them for going on a ride with mates, other than that commuting is done in my kevlar jeans and textile jacket! Yea, the RAM mount I'm a bit sketched out by undoing the yoke nut, dunno if I want to. I don't really need my phone there tbf haha. The crash protectors were easy to do, had to drill a hole through the fairing which was sad but they look nice now! Well the bar end shit sounds like a pain in the ass, might not do them now. They looked so promising as they're only like £15 on ebay! I would love to do it but don't want to ruin the throttle control. Might just put the money from the lever protectors into the RAM mount then haha. Will defo get the levers tomorrow, how long was delivery on them? I see they're from Hong Kong lol...

    • @ArabianRider
      @ArabianRider  8 лет назад

      Tom Rushforth yeah they took maybe 2-3 weeks I dunno, could've been a bit more. I'm not doing anything any more because I got my A licence and kinda want a 600 as a secondary because the bike dunks fuel like an alcoholic compared to the 125. As for the bar ends, RUclips it. I'd like to see the bike with the frame protectors if you got instagram.

      You just pull it off? No need for a screw?

    • @ArabianRider
      @ArabianRider  7 лет назад

      There's a screen (bolt) that wedges it inside the fork. Its a hex head. Not easy to rip out. But the x-grip someone can just untwist it unless you change it to a bolt instead of a thumb screw.

    When doing the levers, did you need to hold the nut underneath with a spanner? Watched another video and some other guy used a spanner to hold the nut otherwise it was spinning

    • @ArabianRider
      @ArabianRider  5 лет назад +1

      That's a question for you to answer, if it spins, then yes, if not then no xD but make sure it's tightened well, don't over tighten, if the lever is stiff then loosen a little and check it a week or a month later to make sure it didn't get loose because mine on my cbr600rr got loose after 2 years xD

    • @ArabianRider
      @ArabianRider  7 лет назад

      On the cbr125 you could get a bracket that bolts to your clip on (handle bar) you can check out or ask AshBandicoot and let him know I sent you. I'm sure there is. Let me check on ebay

    • @ArabianRider
      @ArabianRider  7 лет назад

      AlcatrazMeow OK I think its 24 x1.00 yoke nut. I searched "yoke but 24 x 1.00" and loads came up for under £15. I'm sure that's what I used. I was using adjustable spanner (wrench) and didn't feel solid but could be my wrench. When you tighten be careful in case its a cheap piece of crap but for me, no issues so far man. And check how much to tighten as you have head set bearing. Let me know how it.goes bro

      If you want to fit it like this then yes, because the original yoke nut is not hollow, so you can't fit it through. If you do have a bike and the yoke nut is hollow then you don't need to get another one.

    You dont really need a ram mount. Instead you can strap a satnav/ phone to your arm :)

    • @ArabianRider
      @ArabianRider  5 лет назад

      I would highly advised against it. You don’t want to look down at your arm, those bands may slip down to your wrist or fall off. I’ve tried that on a bicycle. The mount is in front so you just look down a little and not take your eyes off from what’s in front. Also if you need to stop to check something it’s gonna get annoying trying to get it off your arm and back on. Also with the helmet it will be a struggle and if it’s on your forearm...just still no..
