  • Rituals encompass a wide variety of activities and can mean entirely different things for different people. From deeply cherished spiritual traditions to basic daily routines, the practices we make room for in our lives can be grounding, enlightening, and uplifting.
The appearance and significance of your current rituals (and those you might be interested in adding to your life) likely differ from those of others around you. Your rituals might already play an incredibly important role in your daily life, or perhaps you’re still discovering what they are.
In this conversation, we'll speak to Megan Sheldon of Be Ceremonial about how to process grief through rituals.
    We'll collectively answer questions like...
What are some grief rituals for commemoration and memorialization?
How can we use ritual to feel connected to our lost loved ones?
Why is ritual important in the grieving process?
What are some ways to create our own rituals for grief?
Megan Sheldon is a cultural mythologist, storyteller, and celebrant. She's been crafting and convening ceremonies across the life cycle for years, and continues to explore the evolving nature of ritual with her passion project Seeking Ceremony. Recently, she and her husband built a mental wellness app, Be Ceremonial, to inspire care providers to create ceremonies with their patients or clients. With a focus on the less visible moments connected to birth and death, she's hoping to radically shift the narratives we hold surrounding grief, dying, and death.
