Their lead singer Dolores O’Riordan preforms a lot of Keening rituals in Songs like Zombie and the icicle melts. She unfortunately passed away at age 46 in 2018 due to drowning. I will always miss her voice and she was truly one of the greatest singer of our generation.

in northern Spain we have a traditional "shout", in Galicia it's called aturuxo but it has other names in other places of northern Spain. Maybe the keening and this "shouts" have the same origin
