  • Hey Guys and Gals
In this video Christian, Ash and I tackle Bellthorpe National Parks steep and rocky tracks. It had been raining heavily all morning before we got to Bellthorpe and the rain didnt stop until later in the afternoon.
It made the tracks super slippery and more challenging. The rainforest comes alive when it rains and the colours were vibrant and the creeks were flowing.
We start our journey at Stoney Creek Day use area, where we air down our tyres to around 18 PSI. We then take the track which heads straight up the side of the hill. The track is steep and rocky but has heaps of traction.
Ash's hilux is fitted with a 1UZ V8 Petrol engine it has 2 inch lift and 2 inch body lift and 33inch tyres. It has front and rear lockers.
Christian's Cruiser is fitted with Marks Adapter 4wd Portal Axles, 35's and twin locked from factory.
My Isuzu Mu-x is unlocked and on 32" tyres with a 2 inch lift.

It's important to have the right audio kit if you're going to ask questions of your 'talent'. Good vision.

Looks like the upgrades are working great. Got my LS-T last week and will be keeping her stock for the time being, keen to see how far I can push her before doing some upgrades of my own

Hey Samo! I think if you put a good 2 inch lift kit under it and some 265/70r17 all terrain or mud tyres you will be able to get out and do some challenging offroad tracks 😊

Awesome Nick, how's it all going and how did it go in your opinion.
Is there anything you've fit that isn't cutting it, in your opinion.
Was there a metal spacer installed on the front strut when you bought them?

    • @LowRangeNick

Everything seems to be working really well so far. Havnt had any issues and really happy with all the gear I've put on it :) Yeah i have 20mm worth of spacers on my Outback Armour Struts. :D

Were you using hill decent at 6:00 or just low and soft braking mate? I run lifted Colorado 7. Haven’t used hill decent yet

    • @MiniLuv-1984
      @MiniLuv-1984 5 лет назад +1

Good question. I don't know that the hill decent software is the same in the colorado and the mux, so the comparo might be telling us more about the software settings rather than the underlying hardware?

    • @LowRangeNick

@@deanwalker2682 A remap will only get so much power and torque increase. If you want the best gains then Ecu=shop is the way to go.

Dude....lose the upward inflection at the end of a sentence, unless you are asking a question. You make us Australians sound stupid by doing it. Other than that, it was a nicely done video. Looks like a great area for bush bashing.

Hmm i never realised that was what i was doing with my sentences. Maybe because that is just how i talk 😂 So thanks for your input "dude" 😂😂😂 Im glad that you are speaking for all Australians. Are you a speech therapist? Or just a youtube speech enthusiast that leaves stupid comments on peoples videos about there speech lol 😂😂😂 other than that i appreciate the rest of your comment 👌
