The Joy Luck Club is a beautiful book and movie. Amy Tan is so talented and her work is important.
A film that has made me reflect a lot. Parent and child depend on each other so much, especially near generations that have seen transition (of nationality, faith etc), that they often forget how the other also seeks approval, also lives with constant vulnerabilities. Thank you.
Amy Tan is also a great speaker,Aloha from Maui. Leah Tunkara
It's madness that people make derogatory comments towards Asian people. The world is such an open book and we can learn everything we need to know to be more wonderous humans.
