- Protests in Georgia over the "foreign agent" bill have grown nationwide, continuing in Tbilisi and also in the city of Telavi. Demonstrators gathered to voice their anger over a bill affecting foreign-funded NGOs.

I think the Government should change the law ! They should imply the same law the U.S. has concerning foreign agents. Then there will be no more protests . Probem solved easy .

Oh, the hypocrisy. It's a copy of the American Foreign Agents Registration a Act, only milder. It's not anti-democratic, rather it would protect Georgian democracy from foreign meddling (including Russian) by making NGO's tell who they get their money from. Wouldn't you like to know if shady Russian or Chinese (or anyone else) organisations are pumping in money to influence politics in your country?
