I have some catching up to do on your vlogs, it has been very busy here. I found out from Stephen at A Life in the Parks that you are coming next week. It is such a bummer we will miss you two by 7 days. Hopefully, you get a chance to meet up with Stephen. Just a quick tip, if you are using Genie+ and DCA, you can double dip on Guardians. Once in the morning and then the special halloween overlay at noon. Have fun!

Hi there, I wanted to check in that my stay at Paradise Pier was amazing. I was in room 1238 and the view of DCA astounding. The staff great, attentive to my requests. I'm curious as to the future of the hotel when I return in a few years. The entry way was awesome, as was the one through Grand Californian into Downtown Disney.
So happy to hear that!! We had a great stay as well, and your room was super close to ours (1228). So glad to hear about the cast members being wonderful as well! We are also very curious how the hotel will change with the renovations they are doing. Thanks for letting us know and again, so happy you had a great stay and a wonderful trip!!

Your walk videos are so helpful. Thank you! I appreciate you noting about *any* DLR guest can use this provided they have the hotel key. Since I'll be hunkered down at Paradise Pixar Place Pier during my visit, it's good knowing that is available to me to get to downtown Disney as well as the park itself.

We aren't sure if the hotel will be called Pixar Place or Paradise Pier when you visit but it should be the same place. They have been doing a bit of work to the outside of the hotel. We have read the Disneyland Hotel Guests can use this or the DCA entrance (although that hasn't been tested by us). This way is much more convenient to get to Downtown Disney or Disneyland. Thank you!
@@AnaheimParkTourist Thank you. I'll verify all of that with the front desk when I arrive for my stay. I know the work is going on outside, and from what I presently understand, work is going on inside as well.I check the app every couple of days to see if the official name is changed. For the time being I just joke calling it " Paradise Pixar Pier Place" , I'll find out for sure soon.
@@TAM94114 I like the name!! Lol. We were under the impression that when they announced the new name, they had changed it. But checking the website, it still says Paradise Pier! We are SO curious about the changes they will make to the rooms. Will it be a complete overhaul (meaning, different room configurations of the bathroom-separate shower and sink area) or just a refurbished room with new furniture, decor, linens, etc? We are hoping they also add more elevators somehow. It’s exciting to think of the possibilities. ☺️
@@AnaheimParkTourist Well I'll get myself a look at in a couple weeks. Redoing the room would probably require changing around of the plumbing and electrical, which can take even more time. I have been told that by the time I get there, Goofy will be out of the lobby. I like the new name too. Funny I keep checking the app to see if the name changed in there for my reservation.
I'm sure you saw the update on the lobby & usual entrance being shut down. The check in desk & store moved to the Pacific Ballrooms of the hotel.

Can you please tell me how to get dining reservations for Blue Bayou and Oga's Cantina?
Hi! Dining reservations should open up 60 days prior to your dates. I say should, because sometimes that is not always the case. Usually, we get our reservations last minute. I just stalk the Disneyland app and look for any restaurants on our dates. I have had really good luck scoring reservations 1-3 days prior to when we are going. A lot of people will cancel last minute, so they don’t get charged the cancelation fee. Blue bayou is really difficult to get. And I don’t see Ogas pop up very often either. I just check the app as often as I can, and usually something will pop up that we want. I hope that helps! Thank you for watching. ☺️

This is still a little bit of a walk especially when the feet are ache and tired at the end of the day. Do they offer any transportation options??
End of the night is always the worst, that is when you really feel it. There is always Uber, Lyft, and ART. The ART Stop is in front of the Howard Johnson hotel and this is the Clementine Line. Thanks for watching!

I am sorry, I thought you were commenting on a different hotel. This hotel is a bit out there and there are no real options except for Uber and Lyft. The shortest path to and from Disneyland is to cut through the Grand Californian. Which you can do as long as you have your room key on you.
The biggest advantage to staying on-site is staying in the Disney Bubble. Hotels Like Park Vue Inn and Best Western Mini Suites are actually closer to the front gate to Disneyland than the resort properties.

We love staying in the bubble but the cost makes it more of a special occasion for us.
