Yeah, didn't you know f1 drivers play games on their steering wheel when they race? They have to win a game of tetris each time they go Into pit lane or they are given a 10 second penalty.
Yeah, we need explanations of all the engineering of the Redbull cars. Give us full performance specs. You know, casually post the mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics online. Would be really helpful!
Brake balance just determins which tires will lock first. Most drivers tend to move the bias towards the rear for heavier braking zone as to not lock the front tires. Pretty much the golden rule is you want your bias as far to the front as possible with out having then lock.
@@babyboysmooth1353 he was talking about break migration* which is when your breaking it transfers the break bias from more bb at the front then it would go to the rear once your near the apex. easiest way of explaining it
They even have a small monitor on the wheel. I suppose that's for watching youtube shorts while waiting for the start lights to go out, or on long straights like in monza, or during pit stop. Nice 👌
When you brake, there's 100% brake power use on the front end and rear end of the car combined. Brake balance let you modulate how many percentage of that 100% distributed between front and end. A 50.5% Brake bias means 50.5% of total brake power is used on front end of the car, 49.5% is using at the rear end of the car. High brake bias toward the front end of the car means the front tire will have more weight on braking: which can slow down faster, easier to lock up, making your front tire worn out faster or heat up faster since braking produce heat energy. More brake bias toward the rear make the car more stable on the brake (less shaking) longer brake distance. more understeer if you are trail braking into the corner. I mostly race on GT3(on a sim) so I don't know much about brake migration. But i can imagine it have some what similarity to ABS.
