- 2013/2014: • Ricky Rubio Offense Hi...
Ricky Rubio's passing highlights as well as his jumpshots, crossovers, drives, pull-up jumpers...
Most of the scoring highlights are in the second half of the video. Usually, I place the passing highlights in the second part of the video for most players, but for Rubio, passing comes first.
Credits to the NBA, the sole owner of these highlights.

Rubio is underrated as heck...
All time great level handling
All time great level passing/court vision
Absolutely Phenomenal at getting steals on the defensive end...
And a fantastic rebounder for a point guard that only the very best rebounding guards of all time would average more...
Dropped 37 just a couple years ago it's time to celebrate people for what they are amazing at and not just focus on their flaws which everyone has...
Rubio is one of my favorite NBA players until now 2021 He's a joy to watch although he didn't bring his team to a championship contender but he's a wonderful person and a GREAT PLAYER. He should be included in every ALL STAR GAME. IF HE POSES HALF OF STEPHEN CURRY'S SHOOTING SKILLS HE'LL BE A MONSTER IN THE COURT.👌 👍 🇵🇭
It would be interesting if he was playing for Spurs. Pop would unleash he's full potential and teach him how to shoot,
He'd be Tony Parker 2.0
Minnesota legend Ricky Rubio 🙌🏼 never will forget this dude love his style
Everyone just a take a moment to realize these are some pretty great highlights even though he was out a lot last season
he learned the passing skills from Xavi and Iniesta
Haha thats a nice one
Ricky Rubio?? No!! Tricky Rubio!! It's amazing!!
I love watching rubio play
Mago Ricky!
Man Rubio is one of the best players to watch because he has so many tricks in his bag!
Beautiful!~
I don't care if Timberwolves win or lose,I don't even care if he shoots 1/13 but I still love watching him play. Sometimes he makes a pass and I just don't understand how did he saw that angle
This guy show us what is basketball : a pleasure for our eyes.
Hope minnesota makes playoffs next year. Fun to watch and have potential.
Legend
Once he perfects his jumpshot, he will be unstoppable because of his threats on offense and defense. Go Rubio!
thanks for not putting music in background
couldn't agree more! props to NBAClutchTime!
what a caliber point guard fun to watch, resort to clik a utube video coz im amazed when comentator said he was 17 during 2008 olympics
this is what people want. just a bunch of highlights with the original commentary.
no amateur text intros, no shitty rap music; just basketball.
what I like about pass first PG is that they get their teammates involved and their teammates are always looking to get open and are totally In synch w/ their point guard... Its like when good chemistry and when they play a lot together, their teammates know when their PG is gonna pass to them and how they should get open...
Shoot first point guards, their teammates are just like ight... my homie westbrook gonna go 1v5... better just get out of his way and let him isolation... LOL
Rubio is the ideal PG to play with. All his passes put players in the best position to score. Only 22, watch out world.
Ricky kepts assisting so good but look at those scores :D
He so fun to watch
amazing ! Ricky Mouse, just wait this season , he is going to explodeeee
he is soo Underrated
Magic espectaculo RUBIO
Update this this man beastie
OMG THOSE PASSES OP!!!
Irving, Rose, Paul, Rondo, Rubio, Parker, Wade, Wall, Williams, Curry...
My top 10 list, on this order.
Love all those players but Curry has progressed like crazzzy. Aside from his ankle injuries n such, he's been performing top 5 pg easy peasy.
List the 11ª sick point guard is necessary... Westbrook, of course.
Wheres nash :D
L.A. ! rsrsrsrs
Wade is a shooting guard.
Ricky Rubio is the real assist man.
Take a seat and take some notes Chris Paul.
L
When I read the title of this video. I was not expecting it to be 11 minutes long.
Im a new fan of the TWolves because of Rubio!
there's andrei kirilenko(AK-47) and nikola pekovic are also in minnesota !
He's so sick
Ricky Adelante ! El mejor !
It took jason kidd like 8 years to get his jumpshot down. Which is fortunate because he was still in his prime. The joke was when he got drafted in Dallas, people called him Ason Kidd because he had no J. RIcky seems passionate and as long as he stays healthy, I can see him improving his jumpshot down the road. But first his team has to give him talent so his assists are worth something than just a stat on a sheet.
love rubio!
shooting. and he's my favorite player
When he fully develops a jumper his is going to be unstoppable
Barring any major injuries to Martin, Rubio, Pekovic, or Love we are going to the playoffs this year. Alexey Shved will be even better in his 2nd season, hopefully Shabazz can get his act together (still mad at Detroit for taking KCP), Gorgui Dieng provides a great backup to Pekovic, we look good!
even though the timberwolves arent doing that well, in my opinion he is the best passer in the nba and certainly has the best court vision. :) nice video as well...
Rubio is not just a pass first pg, he is one of a kind in that he doesn't use speed and explosiveness, rather relying mostly on skill with the ball. Maybe sort of like Pete Maravich
This guy is fucking magical.
Rubio can be a nice fit for Miami heat for as a PG.. Rubio just getting better next season that knee would be healed, he's gonna do some damage.
If u look for this u a mfkin legend
Navigates around defenders with ease. Great dribble penetration.
If he and Kevin Love stay together I think they have an opportunity to be the current generation Stockton and Malone.
No lol u realy have no idea what your talkn about, there will never be another Stockton and malone
alarcon5242 please enlighten me oh wise one
lol
Age well Love avg 26 2 times with Rubio
Awesome
Big man.
Ricky Rubio bringing the NFL to the NBA with the touchdowns passes say wut
Ridnour's stroke is SWEEEET
The next best pg
Ha! Manu is the only one that saw the pass coming...he is a genius
He’s incredibly great passer , reminds me of Pete Maravich with his ball handling and passing
idol
Im a Lakers fan but this is my Fav PG in the NBA
No homo I love this channel. This is a graet way to study film and imrpoe your game and im learning a lot
00:38 - guy says NO WAY!!! Couldn't agree more
I know he isn't in the NBA but can you do a Shane Larkin from Miami one?
damn that's a good one.
make part two!!!!!!
Its a flawed term but it is what it is. People relate a true PG to someone who passes first like Rondo and Rubio. I do follow Rose. Pretty psyched he's back and he is the best PG when healthy. Lets just all hope his body holds up 82 games
Steve Nash was like DAYYUM! on that first one
Rubio 'the Spaniard Magician.' Future HOF!
ok ok ok... is anyone else here anxious to see the 2013/2014 NBA season?? im too cheappy to get the ALL season NBA pass but ima watch all the teams play online for free... I mean wow, timberwolves and the passing of Rubio looks amazing.. also looking forward to watch Heat, OKC, clippers, Lakers OFC, maybe HOuston...
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
1:51 amazing!!!
Real life Kuroko ?
This comment is awesome on soooo many levels.
Maybe, he uses misdirection on games. Buy more like Akashi with pinpoint passes, and also Falcon eye with his steals and his play reading skills as it develops.
deron williams and chris paul are both true pgs and great floor generals
Please do Paul Geroge next
To most wolves fans, Rubio can do no wrong. What an exciting player to watch!
anyone else notice how quiet the crowd is in Minnesota is?
rubio reminds me of tony parker and steve nash combine.. i hope he wins a ring before he retires.
Great passes. Gotta play twice or even more just to see how the ball goes to his teammates. I would not know when he would pass the ball if I was his teammate.
He's not a complete player (yet).. but boy is he fun to watch
pistol pete was a poor man himself who hurt every franchise he's with
So depressing to look back at this year and think what position the wolves would be in right now if it wasn't for all of these damn injuries.
And nothing was left out.
If you think about it... When you have such a good point guard, you need to be alert all the time which makes you more on your feet on offense because you never know who he's going to pass to.. Just my opinion
Ricky Rubio, Larry Bird, Pete Maravich, Blake Griffin, Dirk Nowitzki, Brook Lopez, Steve Nash, and
So… this is how Rubio looked like after tearing his left ACL the previous season?
at 5:40 after the dime "shit!" haha
Passing highlights 8:40 scoring highlights 3:00
Rubio
D Wade
LeBron
Blake Griffin
Joakim Noah
You gotta have big man that can rebound and pass the ball to Rubio to really get the fast break going.
BEST FASTBREAK SQUAD
nice
I think Wall is more of a traditional PG than he is a scorer, don't be suprised to see him average 10 or 11 assists a game in the next few years as his team mates develop.
Wolves will definitely make it to the playoffs next year with Rubio healthy all season
Mike Conley, Jr. is also a nice pass-first PG. And being a "traditional" pg isn't always useful in today's game, where being unable to score is a substantial liability. PGs who can both score and pass, such as Derrick Rose, Tony Parker, John Wall, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, and Stephen Curry, among others are the new prototype.
Could you imagine Lebron, Wade & Rubio doing a break away? My god.
Truth.
Yeah, that's why Latino refers to people from the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America. They speak the same language, but slightly different dialects. Most languages in Europe and the Americas are Latin-based, but I'm saying the term Latino is based on the ethnic group from that region, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina etc etc.
すげー
Rubio=Xavi.. Spain always seems to produce best passers in any sport
As much as I love Ricky Rubio, there should have been an offensive foul called at 9:21. If you look closely in the paint, number 33 yanks one of the players out of the box and almost off his feet.
You need to play in slower speed to watch Rubio's highlight. He's fast!
This men should play for El Heat for real he can play nd pass!
he's a soccer player in a basketball players body. the way he sees the court.
true dat. Everything you said is right and the stat for rose I checked on basketball-reference was for the previous season prior to his injury, my bad.
But dude, you totally just made this into an argument that it is not, my only point was that D-rose is a true point guard, but that guy said rondo and rubio are the only true PG's, yet rose avg more assists than rubio.
Nothin against the kid rubio man, I love him he's a great player, I wasn't sayin anything bad about him, lol.
On my old team he would just look like someone trowing the ball in the air. We wouldn't have been able to catch the ball and if we did we would just have been standing there with the ball looking at him like... yeah.. ok.. well good thing I was able to catch the ball Ricky jeez man.... coach come on
I see kuroko tetsuya in kuroko no basket in him :)) Rick Rubio is cool :))
