The name of the stripe is "Mihama Blue"
The unique cotton weaving industry, which started in the Meiji era, has also declined.
Today, there is only one weaver left.
The new blue of Mihama, stripes like the color of the sea in this town "Mihama Blue"

While running a futon shop, Mukai works alone once a week at a weaving factory in Ichiki to preserve Ichiki cotton. In order to pass on Ichiki cotton to future generations, he gives classes on Ichiki cotton to local schoolchildren and others.
He is also actively involved in activities such as teaching the history and culture of Ichigi cotton textiles to local schoolchildren.
In the meantime, the factory had to be relocated.
A new location was found without any problems, but the costs of renovating the new factory and relocating the machinery were necessary, so crowdfunding was started, which was a great success thanks to your support.
