FortiGate 7.0 - How to Configure SD-WAN

- So the fiber landed at my house, and it took me a while to get the house settled. We have been riding the ISP provided wifi for about a month now. Two other gentlemen are going to be joining this 7.0 lab, so it was time to get the WAN setup and get services turned on here before we enable the FortiManger, FortiAnalyzer, and EMS in the Security Fabric.
In this video, we hook up our CCG Fiber and Comcast WAN connections to the firewall and configure SD-WAN (Which is going by SASE now?). We setup some baseline performance SLA's using DNS, HTTP, and PING, and used the Google DNS SLA to optimize Microsoft Services.
We will dive back into these after the LAN is established, but for starters, this is a easy configuration for dual WAN connections.

Thanks for the feedback. We still use a lot of fortinet stuff but we focus a lot more on the cloud solutions these days
Nice Video. Thanks. So in this case, SASE just enables the load balancing and this will be directly connected to internet.. In branch to branch communication how we build the overlay tunnel?
You can incorporate tunnels into your sdwan (sase) but I usually use a zone to aggregate them since I don't have complex routing requirements most of the time
Conelly great video! When you talk about enterprise networks, are you talking about APs, Switches, etc?
Yes but not just that. An enterprise network is the total network stack used to deliver services. The access layer is going to include switches and aps, but that also includes all of the routers, firewalls, VPN servers, and now that we're all multi cloud, virtual networks at providers locations. It can also include dark fiber links, MPLS, express route circuits etc

Please increase the audio levels - extremely low compared to music.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm actively working on improving the audio quality. I just got a noise canceling shield to put around my mic so the next one should be a lot better. I had to use a lot of noise reduction to get it to sound decent before.
I recorded a new video this morning with the new audio shield and the sound came out a lot cleaner. I hope that is a little bit better in regards to listenting experience. If you have any further feedback, let me know. Thanks!
