Any layout that has post war Lionel trains catches my attention. The heart and soul of toy trains catches my interest every time. What ever layout theme it is always a hit with me when post war Lionel is running around it. Those classic toy trains are just what interest me most given the wide spectrum of trains on you tube video.
Camera work and layout storytelling melding together in a very special way... you are a master artist. Didnt at all miss the sound of a more modern engine. Gary j
Wow! Terry you got a nice collection of Lionel F3s. I just recently got my hands on the Lionel PWC B&O Freight set from 2006 and as a bonus the 1990s era reissue of the 700e scale Hudson 5340. The number of F3s I got is quite a lot I have the Texas Special PWC, Western Pacific PWC, Wabash PWC, Southern PWC, New York Central Century Club 1, B&O PWC, and original Lionel 2343 Santa Fe F3 with 2 A units and 1 B unit, another Santa Fe F3 set with 2 As and 2 B units from 2001 or 2000, and finally a Lionel Archive Southern Pacific Black Widow F3 from 2000. I’m going be on the look out for the Canadian Pacific F3 Postwar Celebration Series version with the passenger cars, the Rio Grande F3 also PWC, Atlantic Coast Line F3, Milwaukee Road, C&O, and others.
Wow to you also! It sounds like you have a variety of nice really nice horses in your stable too. I really like the SP Black Widow paint scheme and your re-pop of the 700e is a gem. Thanks for watching and enjoy your trains! TJ
Thanks dude. I’m going to the LCCA’s Concord Convention in July. I’m bringing my B&O Set with some freight cars and my 1990 700e Hudson with either Lionel Madison cars or New York Central 15’ in passenger cars with the 700 series NYC Woodsided Caboose.
I was hoping you would notice since you were the inspiration to do a follow up. I still have a bunch more sets but no time before the holidays. There will be at least one or two more parts. Thanks!
@@isellu It showed up on the top of my feed, Which was a nice bonus. Regarding the rest of your sets, I’m highly interested in seeing what you have left to show us. I will be looking forward to the future videos!
LOL, great idea and it is fair to give equal time. The problem will be the scale length trains trying to negotiate the old O54, 042 and O31 tubular track. It might turn out to be a video of a giant train wreck! Thanks for watching.
I wish my videos looked as clean and polished like yours. I’m also a really big postwar fanatic. Ive been on the hunt for one of those Canadian Pacific F3 units. I have the passenger cars but I don’t have the locomotives
@@gusshadleythelunaticfromar7125 LOL, that was a long time ago at a different home and layout. I still have about 50 hats on display. Thanks for watching Guss!
Yeah, ironically one of the least popular Lionel F3 locomotives in the mid to late '50s was this one which has now become the most sought after. Thanks for watching!
Grew up in the 50's. My dad and I built a layout. Began collecting again 5 years ago- had everything stolen but have bought a few pieces just for display.@@isellu
Thank you, I appreciate your comment! Here is a RUclips link to the layout diagram. It doesn't show any specifications of track but it should give you an overall impression of the layout design. ruclips.net/video/6c7qn9TBLTA/видео.html

SHAZAM - Christmas came early with a TJ video!!! Nobody choreographs his trains like Terry. Thrilling action here for the holidays.

I Love Terry Johnson and His Layout.

Great run of your Postwar collection. They don’t look out of place on a modern layout. Stay tuned for my Right of Way tribute Terry.
Anxiously waiting!

@@isellu have you ever done any mash-up videos with other train collectors on YT?
@@railchief74 I'm not sure what you mean.
Awesome! You should run modern on a postwar layout now!
