California Shaking - What you need to know about Earthquakes!

California is Earthquake country, but this year we've had more than usual.
We'll go over why, what it means, and what you can do about it.
If you live in Southern California then you have probably felt a few good shakes this year alone.
In fact, we've experienced 13 earthquakes with a magnitude 4.0 or greater by mid-August.
Over the last 20 years, we've experienced on average 5 quakes 4.0 or greater.
So what does this mean?
Is the big one coming sooner?
Do a lot of smaller quakes relieve pressure and reduce the chance of a big one?
Where are these quakes coming from and why is it some people felt them and others didn't?
When will we return to "normal"?
What can I do to be prepared for a major earthquake?
As always, our trainings are open to everyone, regardless of if you have taken the Community Emergency Response Team training or not or if you live in the Los Angeles or not.
