Wow that's awesome video/tutorial B.Webster did a great job 4 his 1st time. Blk cars are a true love hate relationship. When corrected properly nothing looks better. I love those low lint prewashed wool pads.its awesome u taught him 2 polish..funny how we are alike. I've been doing that 4 about 4 years. At the end of the day it's not always about money but paying it fwd.b well good friend
Webster, if you're watching, I do a FULL DETAIL, a little different? You probably have some type of protection on it, so I like to do a DEEP cleaning with a strip wash to remove any old protection. I do not eliminate the iron removal stage, especially on the wheels, barrels and wheel wells. For the most part, this youtuber does a great job when promoting different products.
Ooops. I kinda skipped to your polishing stage in the video but upon watching the beginning, I kinda see why you were having trouble. This car needed a FULL wash, clay with a MITT and not a bar, ironX decon, paint cleanser like Meguiars or P21S. That paint wasn't prepped properly unfortunately. But I did enjoy watching
Nice video Benji; I’ll bet Webster is super pumped. Menzerna and Sonax - can’t go wrong with them - matched to the right pads. But I’m going to try Koch Chemie on my 2014 Mercedes which has hard paint.
The paint on that Camaro seemed like it was pretty hard. Even using aggressive products it looked like you were having a time trying to level down and remove those swirls and etchings in the paint. The Detail Firm comin' up! Looking forward to that one. They have incredible looking packaging but their prices are up there from what I saw on their webpage. I'll be interested to see how they actually work compared to other more reasonably priced stuff. Got my Polishangel stuff in. Mostly interior stuff this time. I haven't tried them all yet, but have done the "smell" test on them. Their interior stuff has mostly the same scent. To me like fresh squeezed oranges. It is AMAZING smelling stuff. Bella Clean (Leather), Intimate (Any interior hard surface), and Soft cleaner (Fabrics/Carpets) all have that exact same smell. I almost thought I got duped and it was the same exact product in three different bottles with different labels. But no, I actually did a side by side comparison and they have different consistencies. One is milky looking, one is more transparent, the third a little thicker. I just think they use the exact same SCENT in each of the products which I actually like because like I said, the smell itself is incredible. In my personal opinion, for me anyway, it is some of the best SMELLING products for the interior.......EVER. Very clean and refreshing smell. My whole garage smelled like it when I finished using Bella Clean on the leather. We'll see if they are worth the price. I also got their RAIN 9H window coating and CRISTAL window prep polish. I have been wanting to try those two for about a year and finally broke down and got them.
The paint was not the hardest but took several steps to clear up. I don’t always wipe well until the very end so that may give a hard paint impression. Hood came out fantastic by the end though. The Detail Firm smells fantastic in a different way. More on the natural herb scent. Their packaging is too notch and shipping was fast and packed to a “T”. I have a video coming on them next. Ya, the Polish Angel stuff is very good and smells great. Glad u pulled the trigger on the 9H. Let me know how it works.
@@DetailingBreakdown I'll let you know how it works once I apply it. The one thing I like about it, whereas some window coatings, once you open them, you pretty much need to use them pretty quickly or they harden in the bottle. This one applies more like a sealant.. I think the Cristal Prep Polish is a must though as I believe it might have activators and hardeners in it that link with the coating and thus gives it the 9H rating once cured. Sort of like their Cosmic V2 needs the primer first to cross link and activate the chemicals in the Cosmic and get to the hardness levels like a coating once cured.
@@joevanseeters2873 I’ve had good luck with half used coatings lasting years. I put plastic wrap around the top and then cap them and store them in a dark cool place.
Unfortunately,, this is one time only. Lot of clear coat was removed. Next time the scratches have to be covered by waxes. Or you are looking at clear coat failure. Like Brian from Apex detailing will say, educated yourself with good washing methods to wash the car. My opinion is that always keep the car clean. Waterless like he shows in his videos.
You should tell Webster that starting 2 learn detailing in the beginning is same as sex .1st couple of times having sex really is awful 4 ur girl friend until u practice..lol.b well good friend
BRAVO, ARPREZZO TANTO CHE STAI INSEGNANDO ANCHE AI GIOVANNI, SEI UN ESEMPIO PER TUTTI, BRAVO, BRAVO.
Awesome job to the both of you! I enjoy seeing you share your knowledge with other's.
Thank you, it’s fun and helps others so a win win.

For sure, we were just doing a basic test on his car. Maybe little by little we will correct the full car and give it the works.
condescending !!! take a leaf out of D&D auto detailing comments if you NEED to promote your business 😀
Beautiful work both of you .!
Ty, it was fun.

I would like to try Koch Chemie someday.
FYI, the shinemate yellow pad is one of their cutting pads. It’s too aggressive as a second step in the correction process.
It can be used as either depending on the product used with it and the paint being worked on. It’s definitely a cutting foam pad though.
That menzerna is no joke.
Menzerna is fantastic!!
Anyone know if these polishers can use a different brand of battery on these machines ?
Do you happen to know if the shinemate ex620 has an option to purchase a handle and if so where to buy one?
I have no idea but u could check Carzilla

I told this guy the same thing. Probably could get away with light polishes from here on out.
tell Webster to be careful.. once you get into detailing it gets into your blood.. and gets expensive...but lots of fun
Absolutely, his eyes we’re getting big
webster has a proper nice car.that machine polishing is not easy, takes some practice.got to love black paint....when its clean lol
Black is tough and yet looks so good when all finished down. This car looks like Batman with the body kit on the bottom. Very cool.
So that pkg is 4 me right?😆😆
I got a question, is that a Camaro? 💥😵
Sho is

Could've done without the stupid music
I’m sorry
