As an Avianca Pilot myself that flies all over South America i recommend my country Colombia there is so much to visit. Bogota, Cartagena, Medellin, Villa de Leyva, Santa Marta, Palomino, Salento. There is so much and SO many airlines to blog about, Avianca, Latam, Viva, Ultra, Easyfly. There is a rich aviation culture in my country.

@@tonypreston7278 Nice! I just wish Delta went back to doing the ATL-GYE route. Since I live in the CLT area, connecting thru MIA is a pain and I like ATL better than MIA. Also, it could be a little easier to drive to ATL than South Florida if I had too for a lower fare.
PS I know JetBlue and Spirit go as well, but their schedules never seem to work for me when I go. Plus, even though I'd really like DL to return there, it is nice that AA has 3 daily to GYE. Good to have flexibility for service issues or God forbid a volcanic eruption.

As a long time fan from Chile, when I saw the title I just lost it 😍 6:51 I'd say some of the most breathtaking scenarios of South America come from (unironically) southern Chile-Argentina. Both of them are similar, yet unique in their own ways. Maybe an argentinian sub can give you more advice on their side, but as for Chile 🇨🇱, "Saltos del Petrohue" and "Torres del Paine" are a must. There's also a ski center that I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) is the only one, worldwide, to have direct access to the sea. If the right weather conditions are met, you're up for an astonishing sunset on the Pacific.
Hope to see you again in this part of the world, til then, cheers and keep up the great job! 💪🔥

If you ever go to the Amazon jungle, watch the mosquitoes. 2 months after returning home, I had malaria. I love Delta’s A330’s. Nice video, even though I'm strictly United due to the credit card. And thanks for pointing out Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas. I tried it a couple times in the 2000s, but hit bad weather even in the dry season. I'm appreciative of all the people, including you, who evaluate the IFE. Me, I put in the ear plugs, put on the eye mask, and sleep.

If you go to South America and don't visit Iguaçu | Iguazu falls you are nuts. I lived in Foz do Iguaçu for 20 years and even though I now live in Canada every time I go visit Brazil I still stop over there to see it once more.

I flew to Santiago on American because it was the only airline that continued on to Punta Arenas so we could visit Torres del Paine (Patagonia). Nice to know that Delta could be a much better option!

This doesn't surprise me. I have an aunt who is loyal to Delta because they have much better flight routes all over S. America than any domestic rival. That's why she has stuck with them over 10 years and still counting.
