Five Finger Death Punch performing Way Of The Fist live at Metro Theatre in Sydney on 14 August 2009
Five Finger Death Punch were formed in 2005 by guitarist Zoltan Bathory (formerly of U.P.O.). The American Capitalist Songfacts states that Bathory came up with the name after being amused by a scene involving a five finger punch in Kill Bill 2. Other members recruited to the band include former Motograter & Ghost Machine vocalist Ivan Moody, former W.A.S.P. members guitarist Darrell Roberts and drummer Jeremy Spencer, and former Anubis Rising/Deadsett bassist Matt Snell.

I like how Zoltan plays lead guitar stuff so casually, like its nothing haha, bass is insane too. Whole band is on fire here. If i could travel back in time I'd go to this concert, it kicks ass!
Ive never been disappointed from any of their shows, they bring the fire everytime
I remember in 2007-08 hearing them for the first time an it was a breath of fresh air, still holds true to today. God bless the rage of mankind, it can be beautiful.

Yep, there first album was the best!! So heavy!! I still love 5FDP & I love Ivan for getting sober for his kids but I miss this! I miss there heavy music now the mainstream sound they have now. Please IVAN & the guys @ Five Finger Death Punch give us another album that’s heavy like the first!

Idk why so many people hate 5 finger. Yea come songs are little “try hard tough guy” but it’s more so in the way Ivan does some of his cleans than the lyrics. And it’s only some of them cause he can really sing. But sometimes the delivery of his cleans comes off a little, idk like he’s trying to be operatic maybe. Idk how to describe it. But it’s not unbearable. And the embers is GREAT. Love em or hate em im a fan. Fuck haters. Different strokes for different folks. Fuck elitist hate keeping shit. That’s why our music is dying. Because of crab mentality elitists.

The Way Of The Fist was one powerful album so much so that FFDP were even being labelled as the next Pantera. But since then, the band have gone downhill after Darrell & Matt firings !
