I think LD faces difficulty in playing against players who have a very strong smash and play more flat drives and with fast pace,unfortunately LCW doesnot have these features in his game play so LD was very comfortable against him throughout their career but LD faced difficulty against Viktor,Srikanth and even Jonathan christie a lot.

However, pure athletic players with powerful attacking game can put his older, less agile self in danger. I assume LZJ would have caused him trouble too if they faced off. Though 2008-2011 LD who had frightening athleticism with his fully developed badminton mind would of course defeat any player.
