The part about what happen to Rufus Scrimgeour in his last few days leading to his death is not in the movie but perhaps in the book or on Pottermore. I do not recall reading this and is missing in my memory. I only recall the final message that was sent from the ministry of magic warning Harry. Telling him that Minister Scrimgeour was killed and the Ministry was overtaken.
Voldemort is probably the most interesting character but that doesn't mean he is the best one. Ministry of magic fell, simply said, because of inner personal weaknesses.
I mean a lot of deaths and disappearances happened eventually, Especially The “Accidents” , After the order of Phoenix , He diminished a lot of the Ministry Auras and All but yeah lol
The fantastic beasts movies and fourth Harry Potter book introduced that where was an international body of wizarding nations, kinda like the United Nations. So what happened when Ministry of Magic was overthrown by Voldemort? Did other wizarding communities did nothing?
"...a vast majority were found dead all over the country..." Were muggles able to find these murdered individuals? I have heard conflicting opinions regarding Rufus Schrimshaw, (spelled wrong?), being a poor minister. The video does state that he was a, "...renowned aura..." Based on what I have learned he was handed a very bad situation, yet he attempted to solve important issues. Basically his heart was in the right place, but by his time, try as he may, he was out-gunned. In my humble opinion, individuals in such high ranking positions don't get murdered due to going along to get along. Why was he replaced by a death-eater who was under the imperious curse? Why go so far as to place an allie that must be heavily coerced to follow orders?

I suffer from insomnia and have since infancy. It drove my grandparents crazy, but at four years old the really nice lady across the street taught me ho to read and she had already taught me to play piano since she saw I was fascinated by it. Dixie was her name and I did not know she was dying from cancer, but she put her all into teaching me to read and play piano. Teaching me piano started when I was three. I wasn't a genius at it, but I learned how as much as my little hands could do. I still play for fun, basically all I ever did. Dixie taught me to read telling me, " iffing I was gonna be up till the moon goes down I should be able to read.". Dixie taught me my numbers and basic arithmetic as well. She fell real ill right after I turned five. They wouldn't let me in to see her saying she was to ill for visitors, but her husband Mr. Bill would let me in to talk to her in the evenings. He said I could come talk to her anytime she wanted me too and it could be 4 am sometimes. Poor Dixie wasn't alone when she died, I was with her when she told me the Lord was there to pick her up, she was very happy and passed away with a smile. I cried for a week it seems like now. July the 1st 1957,. Dixie out of kindness would always let me stay over her house because she knew I lived in an extremely abusive home. She lived a Christian life, nothing phony, no hypocrisy there. I remember wishing that she was my mom. I still miss her

Could the damage be repaired magically like Dumbledore demonstrated when he found Slughorn? Or does some of it need to be built or rebuilt with hands on labor. Repairing damage magically has been demonstrated by advanced wizards in the Magical Creatures movies.

Voldemort: He-who-must-not-be-named
Fudge: He-who-must-be-blamed
Paulus : He-Who-Must-Break-Out-With-The-Sixth-Army
Thicc-knees: he-who-must-be-controlled "cuz he speaks like a true politician,"
Voldemort: you know who
Fudged: he was poo

I do not recall reading this and is missing in my memory. I only recall the final message that was sent from the ministry of magic warning Harry. Telling him that Minister Scrimgeour was killed and the Ministry was overtaken.
Voldemort is probably the most interesting character but that doesn't mean he is the best one. Ministry of magic fell, simply said, because of inner personal weaknesses.
Definitely the best dueling scene in any of the movies or books...certainly shows us why Dumbledore was the only wizard Voldemort ever feared.
the fact that the entire army of the British Ministry was outnumbered 4 to 1 by voldemort's death eaters is just astonishing
I mean a lot of deaths and disappearances happened eventually, Especially The “Accidents” , After the order of Phoenix , He diminished a lot of the Ministry Auras and All but yeah lol
Scrimgeour is underrated. Even under Cruciatus curse he didnt give Voldemort important Information. But nobody even remembers him.
Scrimgeour was a legend, totally underrated and undervalued character.
While he did have his own faults, his sacrifice to keep Harry safe and away from Voldemort was, though his final act, the best thing he ever did.
The fantastic beasts movies and fourth Harry Potter book introduced that where was an international body of wizarding nations, kinda like the United Nations. So what happened when Ministry of Magic was overthrown by Voldemort? Did other wizarding communities did nothing?
Nice to see frequent videos, but not fond of those background flashes.
"Coop"?
This was excellent. Looking forward to seeing more of these kind of videos
Awesome, keep up the excellent hard work ahead of you my friend..... Thank You so much for all your hard work...... YAY....
I love you pronouncing ‘coup’ like COOP. 😂
Voldemort is never truly dead! He lives on in our evil hearts..... 😢
Probably shouldn't say this but I work at the studio tour and recommend your channel to visitors all the time
Going in October 12
@@minhajnizam5090 awesome you're gonna love it!
I went on the 23rd of August 2019, it was great, were you working that day!?
Livy Woodward went 4 years ago with college. Was a wonderful experience
@@george_fg yes I think I was actually
I can’t say Rufus Scrimmagour was as bad or worse than Fudge. I feel he was put in a mess and couldn’t dig it out of the mess
LOL @ coup (coop) its pronounced coo
Is there a difference based on location? Top Gear UK presenters always say Por-sha whereas Americans say Porsh.
Well coup d'état is a French phrase so I think the p being silent is universal
Lisa Kazmier in german its Porsch”é”
@@Mp-bu7zx I know. Just used two English speaking countries.
The amount of words this dude mispronounces is insane.
Love your videos!
One of the biggest mistakes with Voldemort dealing with Rufus is not giving him the truth telling potion
This is very relatable today!
I'm convinced that after the HP series they invented the term "You Fudged Up" after Cornelius Fudge
I love your work ,dedication . ❤️💎💎
WiZarding World is my escape from this life. The books , movies and your channel is the escape portal . Thanks for all the brilliant videos .🔮🙏🙏
Coup is pronounced COO not Coop, lol, every Irish guy I ever met does the same thing. I personally would prefer words spelled like they are pronounced, such as uneek instead of unique. I still miss her
As always, amazing theory!
Love your vids please keep making them because they brighten my day.
GREAT VIDEO TOPIC !!
This really made me think about a certain moment in the story. WHY did Voldemort allowed Umbridge to keep the locket with her? If he even knew... also did she even know what it truly was?
Senali Karunathilake I guess when you really think about it, that makes a lot of sense ! Thanks
Great idea for the vid keep it up
Your videos are awesome and I enjoy watching your content because when you watch them you can tell the video was worked hard on and you can tell that plenty of research, knowledge and effort goes into it and it’s really worth it from watching it
Miss.R.J .Lupin thank you so much, if you only knew the amount of hours of research and editing that goes into videos.. thanks for your comment
Thank you for the videos I have watched a ton of them and I love every single one
Scrimagour couldn't have been interrogated for even a full day. He was just at The Burriw for Harry's birthday and the will the prior night. The next evening, Kingsley's patronus announces his death at the wedding.
_The Ministry has fallen. The Minister of Magic is dead. They are coming . . . They are coming . . . They are coming._
dude the word coup is read as "koo" because it's french.
Why did you spell it "koo" and not "coo?"
@@goofy8482 because that's how the dictionary sounds it out. K is used to represent the "hard C" in the word
Ministry: so ahem, apparently Voldemort has risen again and the evidence is there
Also Ministry: Never fear, who cares.
Thx for the upload!!
Cool video pops keep it up
Yay! New video!!!
Love your channel it is amazing
I wanted Voldemort to win of at least survive because the failure of finding 1 horcrux or something like that..
Great video
Great video. I love all your work and am glad to see you back on form. The teacher in me though...it’s “coo” not “coop” 😜 Yes I am an annoying grammar nazi that way. I am sorry and I hate myself. Well done on another awesome video though 😁
Ahh! Another enjoyable Harry Potter Folklore video. This is why I subscribed long ago.
Keep quality, intelligent, interesting videos like this coming and I will be here for a long time to come.Thank You!
I have always been interested as to what type of magic would be used, if any to build Hogwarts castle, and to repair it after the battle for Hogwarts.
Could the damage be repaired magically like Dumbledore demonstrated when he found Slughorn? Or does some of it need to be built or rebuilt with hands on labor.
Repairing damage magically has been demonstrated by advanced wizards in the Magical Creatures movies.
Great video 😍😍😍
I’ve really enjoyed your Harry Potter videos been going threw game of thrones lore really enjoyed them as well
At 1:09 Weasley’s wizard wheezes

I love your channel.
GG was a nice wizard after all.
Well done.
Awesome video!!!
Ooooooo something I have always wondered about!
Do a video describing Rufus Scrimgeour and his life and what he did in the ministry
is pronounced unless you’re referring to a car!!! Other than that I do love your videos!!!! Keep them coming!
Seeing Scabior in the beginning 😍
Oh god, is it just me or is Voldemort a better leader then fudge?
Who isn't a better leader than Fudge. He was such a tool
I enjoyed that 💖 Thanks
It's been a long time since I read the books. Did the book go into much detail about how Snape deflected the spells onto the two other Death Eaters who were flanking him at 8:00? It happened so fast. Did others in the room notice it?
That didn't happen in the books
Welcome back to the world of Harry Potter? What? I never left!!
Slytherin School of Dark Witchcraft and Wizardry
You're saying coup wrong. The P is silent. It's pronounced Coo.
Fudge is possibly the most underrated villain of the whole series. We all hate Umbridge who is far more evil (and even joined the Dark Lords side in Deathly Hallows) but Cornelius Fudge was the brains behind the whole scandal and indirectly helped Voldemort gain power from the ministry.
It's pronounced "coo". It's French. Made me cringe so many times lol
Drove me crazy. So many people on youtube who make it their job to speak mispronouncing words lol.
Lol
From the phrase Coup d'état.
Yes! It’s not a small car. Also his pronunciation of Firenze also produced ticks
