There are many other foreigners living in this community...from Germany, Italy, England, Romania....

Steve, idk if you meant to say jungle in a generic way, but here are some context: the kind of vegetation you find at the Amazon is what would be considered a jungle in brazil, with its big high trunks densely packed. This one you saw at Marius is more like a forest (Floresta de Mata Atlântica) - notice how the trees have lots of thin branches and are not that high. Mata Atlântica is prevalent alongside our coast, reason why is the most damaged biome of Brazil with around 25% left.

Actually isn't in the middle of nowhere,it's Just country side surrounded by nature,near a big city,still away from urban issues they don't like.
Chapada Diamantina National Park in Bahia is very beautiful and safe too! Nature is impressive there.

Mas a mata atlântica baiana é mata mesmo, estão está certo o termo Jungle. Que é bem menos densa que uma floresta, como a Amazônia. Mas ainda sim é certo dizer que aqueles lotes são na selva

I have so many friends in Germany that decided to sell everything in Germany and they are living in joao pessoa or close to Rio in Visconde de Maua . It is not only one .they are thousands. Here in Germany everything works but we live only to work .the Brazilians they work to live . And Brazil is very beautiful and full of Europeans live in Brazil. But my Germans friend sold houses here and invested in houses and little pousadas and Brazil. They are making more money now in Brazil and they are very happy in Brazil
The life here in Brazil is extremely expensive, also here's not safe in cities, need a lot attention

that was the spirit of our imigrants. dream, hard work, faith and vision. hope they never forget they are among a hospitable people, who loves neighbors and they don't need to be isolated and should mix and learn about our culture and language to contribute as well.
This about bananas its true. In my house, in Atlantic forest, we use "fossa de bananeira". It's a filter, eco system.

The only forest in this region here in Bahia/Brazil is the Atlantic Forest. But I'm not sure if it's actually a piece of the Atlantic Forest, because it's much denser, you can't see more than 5 meters ahead, and it is an environmental preservation area, they would not allow houses in this site if its a florest. Maybe it was a piece of it in the past and is in recovery, or a transitional bioma. It looks like a forest, but it's not.

I speak Italian and a bit of French too. I live in São Paulo state, let me know if you need a Portuguese teacher, I'm taking new students at the moment and I would love to meet people from any different place. Fui pra Itacaré, e encontrei muitos estrangeiros, Argentinos então, são muuuuuuitos mesmo, conversei com alguns e já moram aqui há 5, 10 anos e não querem voltar para o país deles, dizem que gostam do clima, das pessoas, da natureza, comida.....enfim que tem uma ótima vida aqui, mais relax, menos estressante, sentem-se menos pressionados pela sociedade em sempre ter que ter mais e mais, falam que os brasileiros sabem viver e quando aprendem isso não querem outra vida.
Encontrar um estrangeiro?? No Brasil somos todos estrangeiros. Se você me encontrar vai achar que sou estrangeira?? Aliás qual é a cara do brasileiro? Igual a esse aí tem muitos aqui na minha cidade, e não é estrangeiro.
@@elainebelote8547 é verdade que o Brasil tem todas as misturas, mas não é só olhando na cara da pessoa que da pra saber se é estrangeiro. Mas quando a pessoa fala fica óbvio. E pelas roupas e linguagem corporal mesmo sem ouvir a pessoa da pra deduzir na maior parte dos casos. Eu já morei na Argentina 5 anos, e quando estou em Floripa eu reconheço um argentino de longe só pelas roupas e estilo, os gestos que fazem. Na praia em Floripa, se ver de longe uma mina com aqueles bikinis bem grandes, é quase certeiro que é argentina.

Na verdade a Costa do descobrimento é uma das meso regiões da Bahia, essa é a mata atlântica, a mais preservada do país. Na Bahia ainda tem o cerrado, o semiárido, e o clima tropical de altitude(Chapada Diamantina)...
Salvador é uma metrópole com 5 milhões de habitantes, e o estado tem 16 milhões...

Um pedaço de terra em cidades pequenas não é caro, e se sabemos viver com pouco, ir fazendo as coisas aos poucos não é nenhuma fortuna, é um estilo de vida exatamente para não ser escravo do trabalho corporativo por exemplo,. Quando ele começar a cultivar e criar animais ele terá um custo de vida bem mais baixo do que em grandes centros e com certeza mais saudável, uma vida mais relax, sem pressão da sociedade em estar sempre tendo que ter mais e mais

I could be wrong, but that biome is not "jungle", it seems just the regular Atlantic Forest, that covers most of the South, Southeast and Middle of Brazil.
We are used to call jungle(selva) the amazon rain forest.
Understandable since that is your world. Here in Northern Europe I call even my back yard a jungle if it’s really overgrown with grasses and weeds and uncut trees and saplings… what you call jungle we call rain forest, because we don’t have that.

Na grande maioria da Europa o brasileiro consegue de boa legalização até com facilidade dependendo do pais, mas EUA e Canadá é muito difícil até Austrália é mais fácil o brasileiro tirar visto do que viajar aos EUA.

It's not pica pau, it's pau a pique. I think it translate to wattle and daub, a very ancient construction technique (more than 6000 years old) and very common in the northeastern country side of Brazil.
