No doubt...this Homicidal monster doesn't fear our inept Justice System or Prison. One of the greatest travesties in the late 80's was the closing in every State of Mental Health Institutions. Tens of thousands of these People are either living on their own, with Family members or on Streets. Vast majority need to be medicated... but NO ONE can force them to take their needed Medications unless in an Institution. Add in street drugs, soft on Crime, no cash bail and a violent behaviors....and here We are today. No one is safe..no one.

The mental health system is broken. I should know, I work in the social service field. In the 1970's in response to documented abuse of patients in state mental hospitals, the state decided to reform the system. While the changes have greatly benefited the majority of people, a small subset of dangerously unstable individuals have been allowed to live freely in the city.
All evil ppl are mentally ill, but its not excuse. Some people are just wretched and that wretchedness affects their brains

Most fare paying riders are not engaging in subway crimes. Most of the crime in the subways are committed by fare evaders. They need to be stopped at the point of fare evading because they are the ones most likely to commit crimes in the subway.

I always wonder, when I visit NYC, why people stand so close to the subway tracks. You can trip and fall, get accidentally pushed or pushed on purpose onto the tracks. Looking for the train doesn't make it come any faster. I stand with my back against a wall until the train pulls into the station! There are crazy people everywhere. 😯😯😯
