Aghh I relate to this song alot!! I recently went through one sided love, and wow. Looking back I never understood how driven I was to impress this one guy who never batted an eye towards me. I got so stuck in the thought of him. Obsessed with his competitive nature, and attempted to also fight alongside him, yet all I got from it was nothing. i never usually comment but i relate to this song a lot and i want to share why there was a person who did not treat me how they were supposed to, they were not bad but they were not what i needed at that moment. they were however, my best friend and we had caught feelings for each other. it wasn't nice and i had to beg for them to love me, notice me. it was painful. i soon had to leave and when i did i realized that i felt empty until someone else came along. they helped me a lot, they are my ideal lover and gave me everything they had. i never had to ask for love because i would receive it without demanding it. and everytime that i was shocked by their receptiveness they would tell me that in love, it was only the bare minimum. i had to agree. being loved was such a newfound emotion that it seemed surreal. and as much as i hate to say this but something always felt missing with them and overtime i realized that i lost feelings for them. and to make that worse, i realized that i had never actually moved on from my previous ex-best friend at all. it pains me so much because everything has always been the same since it begun, and i do not know how to receive love. i am still in love with my best friend, and even though we aren't on the best terms i would do anything to have them back. i have always been waiting for something to earn. i am very sorry to the person who loved me genuinely, i wish i could have been the same.
everytime I think that I'm done with being obsessed with this album I end up replaying one song because of relatability and it becomes my favorite album again 😭
