I love the two bedrooms two baths fifth wheels the Grand Design and The Alliance. They are all nice in their own way. Thank you Nathan and Marissa for showing these. Have a great week and safe travels.
You lose storage, but.. What are things you'd no longer carry? The Coleman stove or the Blackstone, you've got a cook top built in. Second cooler or fridge, it's built in. Folding table? Could you use some of that pull out as counter space? If the sink is in the pull out you can slap a cutting board over it. I like the idea, if it's feasible, of not having to pull out the stove, the stove stand, the folding kitchen, etc. and having to set all that stuff up. Built in, push the lever pull out all out and boom you're ready to go!
First time on your channel and I just have to say that I love the dynamic you two bring to the video. Nice clean cuts and you get right to the point with just enough added fun and laughter. Thank you for taking the time to work all the different models! L+S
Boy my mind is changing on some of these you’re so used to seeing the ones that you guys drive and here you have a bunch of different ones with layouts that I like 😊
We live in Pennsylvania and had a chance to visit the Hershey RV show on Sunday the last day of the show. Looks like you got to be there on a promotion day and glad you got to see and share all the things that you learned. We were particularly looking at small RVs as we are weekend travelers or maybe wanting to pull something small with our Jeep when our kids are grown. Your family has inspired us to want to continue to travel in this lifestyle. Would’ve been so great to meet you there!
@@LessJunkMoreJourney Just say that I love watching my Tennessee Cousins from accepting the road with the kids! When I was young we slept three in straw beds above the house or the barn! Just saying that as kids growing up after WWII, we saw somethings called indoor plumbing! saw my favorite people practicing their trades! I am 70 years old and am sharing my life standards to all my people that we watched!
I love the National Park themed Winnebago! My husband and I are going to be buying a new motorhome in a few weeks so I’m putting that one on the list to look at! Thank you so much for sharing this!! ❤
The manufacturers are obviously starting to LISTEN to us! Love the half closet/half office! Also nice to see how they are incorporating more counter space. And why do we have to choose between a taco or coffee bar...it's BOTH! LOL! We've looked at the 2bdm but they don't seem to have much cargo weight. I wish they'd used the toy hauler base and made the room on it rather than just made the regular rig longer but not be able to hold extra weight. We may end up needing to go full time with my mom and right now we are looking at converting a toy hauler because they do hold more weight. But innovation is GREAT!
we had a bunkhouse trailer with a door to the bathroom that we had to make sure was locked because the toilet was just like that 2 bed/2 bath Solitude! But I'm thinking that second "master" should have an option to split the bed area into two small twins with a wall between - sort of like a train bunk room so they can access the bathroom. As your kids get older, they likely would appreciate having their own space ❤️ Love the tour and your enthusiasm ❤️
The 2 BR 2 Bath Solitude is gorgeous but only 2 seats in the Living area? In a rig this large you know you have a lot more than 2 that the seating is for.
Four bunk beds! what were you thinking? Of course you two had all these wonderful babies on the road! 60 years ago, we would be Cat Fishin in the dark under the bridge! How many family members have fished down them OK, what do you feel and see after fishing inn the Florida Key's!
I'm still trying to figure out what RV manufacturers have against natural wood. Fortunately I was able to find a rig with glazed maple cabinetry. Most of the stuff I've seen for the last 5 years has been dark or painted wood, not something I would buy, but I'm not everyone. Marissa must have been in heaven looking at RVs. Keep the good stuff coming guys and give the kids a hug for me.
We prefer the Alliance 2 bedroom model for the fact that they got 2 love seats and the dinette in the living area. If y'all want to see a CRAZY big loft, the Avalanche 390 DS loft could easily sleep 3 kiddos.
I'm an hour away from Hershey, I would have loved to meet you guys! Been watching you guys almost since the beginning when Hensley was a toddler. Such a bummer I missed you!!
@@LessJunkMoreJourney no clue how I missed hearing about that. Ah well, I'm hoping to go full time again by next fall. Maybe we will just bump into each other if God allows it!
Y’all did a great job! We didn’t make it there this year, but we did last year. Next year for sure! So much great stuff coming out of the RV industry now.
Thanks for dividing the seasons up. We’re planning a Utah trip in March and using your Utah route from a few years ago for inspiration! Can’t wait to see the animal sanctuary y’all went to and I’d never even have known it existed without your video!
We have the Alliance 370FB, which is identical to the 382RK from the bedroom forward. We absolutely love our 5W and very much enjoy the comfort of the layout and the Alliance brand in general.
We're finally starting to see workspaces! So excited. Wondering how long it will take before OEM truck camper manufacturers will try to integrate work setups
Oh, I think you all need that Grand Design so Grandma can come out on the road with you! I mean life would be so much easier and I think Grandma would have so much fun with her grandkids. Your siblings may hate you for taking her with you, but you win some and you lose some!
I'm on my third travel trailer and i've learned alot. One thing I can't understand is, when are the AC manufacturers going to change the air flow design? None of them perform well, and the DIY fixes that have blasted on RUclips are great. You would think the makers would see this and make some changes.
I wish RV manufacturers would take into consideration what an RV is like with the slides in. Like can you get to the fridge or bathroom critical for travel days when you need a quick pit stop. I would hate to have to pop my kitchen slide out to put the groceries away.
While I get why there are so many bunk house models. There is only one manufacturer that makes that area a "flex" space with no bunks. Any RV where there is a Desk..... I'm happy.
Would love to see camper with built in doggy kennel/kennels. So instead of being in my space, my puppies could have their own space. They need kennels because they are young and still learning manors.
Can someone ask Grand Design to switch over to using Azdel at the very least? Switching to vacuum bonding instead of pinch rolling is too much to hope for.
Watch what’s new for 2019 or 2020 then buy those used. The one time I bought new it was too expensive and spent most of that first year at the dealership getting everything fixed because of bad manufacturing.
I wonder what the percentage of the working man can afford any of these units. I'm thinking not many..it would have been great if you told us the price on each unit you showed us.. its such an important part of the experience
I see lots of debt! We full time in a used 2013 Sunseeker Class C that is all we want or need. We remodeled and upgraded over the past 5 years and have NO debt. That's real freedom.
@@michaelhalstead7532 an internet search would give you the results you want. I was voicing a personal opinion over spending so much money on what is a leisure purchase. An option for the average working man.
A major problem with American made campers....they are cheaply made. Too many people end up having to fix stuff right after buying. Then, with the amount of driving, the vibration of the road rattles too much stuff apart. Thus...more money...more money. American manufactures should take cues from Australia when it comes to quality build, and making it tough. More and more people are doing the RV life, and driving year round, oh...yeah...most American RV's are not 4 season.

What I remember most visiting Hershey when I was little was the smell of chocolate was everywhere, and the street lights were kisses.

Not sure yet
I love the 25’ airstream with the desk and bunk- super cool.
That is a cool rig for sure.

Glad to hear it!

I find that more outside storage invites bringing too much stuff which doesn’t get used and adds weight.
All beautiful.

I think l see new 5th wheel in future!
Did the kids get to go to Hershey Park?
Ok…did I miss which model had the 1/2 closet and 1/2 workspace? Don’t remember seeing whose that was. We want a dedicated desk in our next rig.

The Tampa RV show has a similar claim, they both are great.
