I really like how divide used cam's voice in this one, I thought it sounded as if Cam fit right at home! All the lyrics really hit close to home and over all a really Inspirational;) track!
What you said about "You don't really hear this kind of sound with these kinda lyrics" I feel like that kinda applies to Asta as a whole. In his world he is literally dealt what seems like the worst hand fate could give him. And through perseverance no matter what darkness is thrown at him, he finds his way through. After realizing that. This song only hits harder!
At first it really seemed that way... until said worst card turned out to be the best. I call it the Naruto problem, massive spoilers to as far as I have gotten, you have been warned: In a world of magic, where magic is seen as the pen-ultimate combat art, he was given a sword that can literally counter magic, add to that that his weakness is the only reason he can wield the sword to begin with, sure, the sword itself is heavy, but it don't need really any higher strength to swing then what magic can achieve, the fact it can counter magic is the only reason that sword is a threat to begin with. And even that would have not been enough, considering there were plenty of people that are not only physically stronger then Asta at first, but also faster, and every step he gets a new power-up to overcome that, first a sword that can draw magic from his friends so he can use it as his own, then another that can break curses which was another thing that his previous two swords were unable to counter. Then he is given his demon form by talk-no-jutsuing the Demon that lives inside of him. At this point, I say Yuno had to struggle more then Asta did. His magic doesn't counter, his magic ACTUALLY needs to overcome the enemies magic cause it don't nullify his enemies magic.
@imaran1303 Right 2 months later, but I feel the need to clear things up. Anti-magic is counter but not a be all end all. AM can only nullify magic proportionate to how much AM Asta has circulating in him. There's PLENTY of times throughout the series where AM gets outright overpowered by magic attacks like Asta and Yuno vs. Licht or Asta vs. Dante. Hell, in order to beat Dante Asta, I needed to make a deal with Liebe for a Devil Arm. Also the only reason Liebe stopped fighting Asta was because he's Licita's son. He isn't like Kurama where he had to be redeemed. Yuno is quite literally blessed by mana, He has 2 grimoires due to him having both a human and Elf soul. The wind spirit Slyph and a 4 leaf grimoire to boot. He is talent incarnate. But no that doesn't mean he doesn't work hard.
@xenorex481 1. Asta gets overpowered because his sword nullifies magic, if said person is just physically stronger then him or outright speed blitzes him to where Asta can't hit him with the sword, then he may as well just be wielding a big lump of metal. Asta had trouble with Licht because he literally had lightspeed attacks that he couldn't keep up with. As for Dante, that was the Spade Kingdom Devil Guy, if memory serves.... the reason why Asta struggled is because he had magic that Asta couldn't hit with his sword. If Yami hadn't been there, Asta would have gotten stomped. Which is usually how most battles go, someone carrying Asta so that he can do his anti-magic stuff. 2. I am not saying Liebe needed redeeming, I am saying that Liebe was unwilling to help Asta until he talk-no-jutsu'd him into doing so. 3. Yuno being talented is true, but unlike Asta, his abilities need to contend with other talented mages, he actually needs to overpower them to win, his magic doesn't just counter anything that comes his way. We saw that during the Magic Knights try-out Arc where Yuno had to go all out to actually keep up with a captain, and the only reason he won in the end was because of a fluke. If it would have been Asta, he would have gone black bull form charged him and done. Cause AM is the literal kryptonite of 99% of Asta's enemies.
@@imaran1303 @imaran1303 you completely sidestepped my point about Anti-magic being useless againt those with more Mana than the AM can negate. For Licht it was both the speed disadvantage (though Asta had been light speed since the Eye of the "Midnight Sun Encounter Arc" where we meet the fake Licht who uses light magic. And yes it's light speed that's the only reason it counters Julius's time magic. As for Dante Asta could very much hit him, Dante would just regenerate it though. Asta didn't have enough Anti-magic to negate Dante's sheer amount of magic so he just kept healing the damage they dealt. It wasn't until Asta made the deal with Liebe in exchange for his arm were they able to deal a finishing blow.
@@xenorex481 I would say the only times when we see any lightspeed feats is later when he finally could control his swords flight path instead of being dragged behind it while it mindlessly hunts down magic. As most of those feats usually rely on his friends, like Vanessa and the portal dude, I can't ever keep his name in my head. And I didn't sidestep it, I pointed out that AM isn't what is being hindered here, but Asta himself because dude had gravity magic that Asta was completely helpless against cause there wasn't anything for him to hit. We see this multiple times, it was also why the first devil he dealt with was such a pain, his word magic ACTUALLY physically creates the objects he summons, meaning Asta doesn't counter the multitude of weapons that get tossed at him. Devils have shown to just be incredibly resilient. Like dude... Yami reduced Dante to a head and limbs and dude just regenerated, what is a tiny scratch that mostly cut only his magical bulk gonna do to him? Asta needed to actually get a good hit in.
Great song for one of my favorite characters. The dark instrumental with the inspirational lyrics and aggressive delivery feel right at home with Black Clover and Asta as a character. It's one of those songs that gets stuck in my head and I can't get enough of it especially with how relatable it is. Also, I love when Cam does this style of rapping because it still has that aggression but he's not entirely screaming at you. I feel like it works really well with the style Divide was going for.
Finally, I've been WAITING for this reaction to drop. By far my favorite song from Divide as of late, and Cam Steady didn't disappoint to boot! Inspirational!
I am coming back because I realized, the whole "you don't really hear this kind of thing" almost feels like everything divide music is. You never expect how awesome he is, even when you think you do.
the reaction is very good, react Campeões (Pokémon) - CAMINHO DA VITÓRIA | Chrono ❤❤❤ Chrono is a Brazilian singer and one of the best in geek music in my opinion.👍 (if you are going to react, activate the subtitles, the subtitles are adapted for each language)
