I mow some really steep ground with my GR2120 and the arm rests are a must. I did a video of mine on my channel. I have a John Deere GX 335 too and the GR2120 will out mow the Deere. That is saying something folks. The Deeres are great mowers. They finally got their lunch money taken away from them by this very fine piece of equipment.

My tractor finally arrived after about 10 weeks I love love love it. What a joy to mow with this beast handles like a dream effortless steering and I love the quiet running diesel compared to gas engines. I've always wanted one of these but the price had me on the fence. You can either buy 5 throw away 2k mowers or just one GR2120 in my opinion way ahead in the long run. Thanks again for all you do for us.
Test mowed with it, not enough power to spin a tire going up a hill and could not go up the hill. Always heard Kabota good on heavy equipment. They better stick with that.
My John Deere s140 goes up 45 degree slopes (sand, dirt and wet soil) with no issue, deck engaged at 2 inches.

Settle a debate for me will you please? What is the HP on the GR2120? Kubota USA's site says 17 hp. Dealers around here say 21 HP. What does is show on your model and what do you say? Thanks.
Both are correct, 3 years ago Kubota changed how they rate engine HP. so in the case of the GR it dropped from 21HP to 17HP on their literature without anything physically changing on the engine
I don’t see the GR models in the Kubota website anymore. I’m assuming they are discontinued. So sad.

Is that a stamped deck? The T models have a fab deck, why wouldn't the GR's?

I am hoping I can get some feedback and guidance here as I just purchased a 2023 Kubota GR2120 with 54" deck and front snowblower. I still have to wait about two weeks until I receive everything but am wondering:
How high off the ground in Inches does the front snowblower raise on this gr2120? Is it 6 or 7 inches or greater - measuring from the ground to the lowest point on the slowblower?
The reason I ask is because I'd like to know if this unit with snowblower attached will make it up my short but steep gravel hill at my home that goes down to my shop? My house is a walk out bungalow and I build a driveway and shop about 7 yrs ago. I don't know what degree slope/steepness (anyone know how to measure exactly?) The gravel hill/driveway is, but it is about 20 feet long give or take with a moderate steep slope
My car and truck go up and down just fine but it is on the steep side.
If taking pictures of this driveway part would benefit, please let me know - although pictures may just make it.more confusing as it may lead a decision astray because it may be hard to tell from pictures?
Or if I can somehow calculate the grade.of hill percentage/steepness?
I really hope the snowblower is able to lift high enough...?

Does it have Def and particle exhaust filter?
DEF is mandated for all Diesels over 25HP, I believe you're safe here for not being in that neighborhood of HP.
Are the wheels painted orange now? The older ones were white. Also how many cc’s is the engine?

Yeah, that rear discharge is nice with the bag collection with dump handle that the euros have. I hate those side shoots. Too clunky!

arm rests are now available GR2741 is the wholegood number list price is $95 for the set
@@HuckabonesEquipment have you ordered any of these yet? I did end up getting the seat from the number you linked thanks again I’m just curious how they mount since there are no predrilled holes in the seat.
We have installed a few sets so far, I will have my GR in for a fall service and will do a short video of the update

@@johnhershey4010 all wheel drive is in 4wd all the time, 4wd you can switch from 2wd to 4wd

The biggest issue with these is the transmission.
The GR2110's had issues with the transmissions, been a few updates since
@@HuckabonesEquipment They all have issues, these have been the biggest pain in the ass machines. We quit selling these because of the transmission issues.

Avoid these, we have a 2014 gr2120 had it since new and endless problems. The most unreliable machine I’ve ever known

I have a 2008 model i bought new and have never had one problem with it
I would put my Craftsman T240 Turn Tight tractor up against these Kubotas all day long..
Maybe against the T series Gr is a unique beast
