Hi there, thanks for contacting HP Global Social Media Support! I understand that you need to know whether your printer supports automatic duplex printing. I will do my best to assist you. This printer supports Duplex (two-sided) printing: Manual. Regards, HP Support
I just learned how to do two-sided printing from this video, and successfully executed this procedure and got my file out. However, I found that two things were weird. First, for my 5-page file, page 2 and 4 came out first, and then page 3 was printed on the back of 2, and page 5 was printed on the back of 4, but page 1 was printed out independently, which is undesirable because you do want 1/2, 3/4, 5 but not 1, 2/3, 4/5. Secondly, I had to manually rearrange the page order, because the final page order came out from the printer was 1, 3/2, 5/4.
So there it is, you have to physically take the printed pages and RE INTRODUCE the sheets in the correct orientation so that the back side of the pages are printed. All these printers do not, I said do not, take those sheets back into itself. Its the same issue with scanning two sided documents...yes you can introduce a number of pages for the scanning but then YOU HAVE TO TURN THE SHEETS over so the the adf tray can scan the back side. Its not just "put your pages in, click a button and get double sided copies." Unless I missed something.

I have a HP 2540 and on double sided printing, it misses pages, sometimes prints alternate pages upside down, sometimes it prints the same pages on front and back (I thought it was me at first). So I waste about 2 - 3 pages for every successful printing batch on longer print jobs. Not much use for anything except invitations to parties. No use for any serious business application.

+Nurfarah Najwa This printer does not support duplex (two-sided) printing. Sorry.
At least it does not automatically. The only way to do this is going to be a bit of a process as you will need to print the odd pages first and then load the same paper back in and print even on the back side of the paper. This is known as manual duplex printing.
Same HP 3635, set to duplex, but printed out only on one side.
