Do you have to set the time coz my blumen ninja coffe machine only does a 4/5 min clean at a time and that's it 🤔 The beeping noise is doing my head in🤦♀️Coz I've not got the instructions as I was given just the machine 🤷♀️
Thank you for this video! I had bought my machine from someone online and did not come with Manual so I've been trying to find online how to clean and came across your video....😂 thank god for your help!
Thanks for the information. I'm also glad you shown your manual's information. Our manual says to fill to the cup (11 oz) line with Vinegar, then fill to the Clean Cycle Max fill line
Ours must be even older, I don’t have the clean fill line on the reservoir and my clean cycle brews a normal cycle as well. I’m going to try sliding the no drip button to pause the cycle halfway through and see if I can let it sit and if that doesn’t work, I’ll try just unplugging it halfway through.
For model CF085 "Fill the water reservoir to the half carafe line (24 oz.) with white vinegar, then fill the rest of the water reservoir with water up to, but not exceeding the Clean Cycle Max Fill line (30 oz.). IMPORTANT: Use only white vinegar. 3. Once the water reservoir is filled with your cleaning solution and water mixture (not exceeding the Clean Cycle Max Fill line), simply press the Clean button to activate the clean cycle. (Fig. 21) NOTE: The clean cycle takes approximately 60 minutes. CAUTION: DO NOT remove carafe at any time throughout the clean cycle. The clean cycle will only brew a small amount first to fully immerse the internal parts in the descaling solution. Once the descaling solution is in the brewer the clean cycle will pause in descaling mode for 30 minutes. During descaling mode, a countdown of 30 minutes will be on the clock. 4. Once the clean cycle is complete, empty and thoroughly clean the carafe and water reservoir. 5. Once the clean light turns off, fill the water reservoir with water up to, but not exceeding the Clean Cycle Max Fill line (30 oz.) and run 2 more clean cycles with fresh water to rinse the internal parts of the brewer. NOTE: If the Clean light illuminates shortly after running the clean cycle, this means there is still calcium buildup on the brewer. Repeat steps above or follow the instructions for the Enhanced Clean Cycle. The clean light will shut off when it senses your Ninja Coffee Bar is free of calcium build up!"
ENHANCED CLEAN CYCLE for model CF085 "NOTE: This process is designed for a deep clean and descaling of the internal parts of the Ninja Coffee Bar in order to break up and remove potentially large calcium and mineral deposits from hard water. If the Ninja Coffee Bar is not completing the brew selected or the brew is taking longer than usual, run the Enhanced Clean Cycle for best results. NOTE: The Enhanced Clean Cycle takes approximately 4 hours. 1. Select the full carafe size and set the carafe in place beneath the brew basket. 2. (Recommended) Use a descaling solution and follow the directions on the package and fill up to, but not exceeding the Clean Cycle Max Fill line (30 oz.). OR Fill the water reservoir to the half carafe line (24 oz.) with white vinegar, then fill the rest of the water reservoir with water up to, but not exceeding the Clean Cycle Max Fill line (30 oz.). IMPORTANT: Use only white vinegar. 3. Once the water reservoir is filled with your cleaning solution and water mixture (not exceeding the Max Fill line), press and hold the Clean button for 5 seconds to activate the clean cycle. (Fig. 21) NOTE: The Enhanced Clean Cycle takes approximately 4 hours. CAUTION: DO NOT remove carafe at any time throughout the clean cycle. The clean cycle will only brew in 9 oz. increments every hour to fully immerse the internal parts in the descaling solution and break up the calcium or mineral deposits. During the Enhanced Clean Cycle and descaling mode, a countdown from 4 hours will be on the clock. 4. Once the clean cycle is complete, empty and thoroughly clean the carafe and water reservoir. 5. Once the clean light turns off, fill the water reservoir with water up to, but not exceeding the Clean Cycle Max Fill line (30 oz.) and run 2 more clean cycles with fresh water to rinse the internal parts of the brewer."
There is a representative from Ninja that is also on RUclips. The only difference between your instructions and the Ninja guy, he says to fill the water reservoir to the max line. Either way, I’m sure they both will get the job done. Thanks
Ours don’t say clean on water tank like yours does. Our manual actually says fill with vinegar to half carafe and to top fill line with water. It also shows an enhanced cleaning cycle which you fill tank the same but hold clean cycle for five seconds and this takes four hours. Then rinse like it says two times running water through after also rinsing basket and carafe in sink with fresh water. Amazing what you find when you read manual.
I always use distilled water so i know there is no internal calcium buildup in mine. I did find a button holding key sequence a while back on the internet that instantly cleared/canceled the clean led without the full clean cycle, but can not remember or find it online now. If anyone knows please share. I'm sure Ninja will not disclose this.
I have this same model. When I press the clean button it does not do a 30 minute clean, but runs straight through. Tried holding the button 5 seconds (actually 10), same result. Runs straight through. The numbers on the display never change either to indicate time left. Still displays time of day.
Finally found the owner manual. It say CLEAN cycle should run 8 minutes, so I guess this is not the same model even though they look the same. After 3 days of alternating Coffee Pot Cleaner and vinegar it finally started working. Guess I will clean it more often from now on.
Use the same water in the container that was just used.without removing the water reservoir Press clean x2 again to start flush should be the last time .my light went off after the final flush.
This did not work for me. It brewed the coffee like a regular pot and not the 30 minutes the video says it takes. I have a little green inside my water holder at the bottom and it didn't remove that either.
Yep. There is no way to seal up the carafe after brewing so, the temperature of the coffee cools down significantly within 45-60 min. I know this is an old question but for others who might also still have this model. We still have this model and it’s going strong. “Knock wood” & hope I didn’t jinx myself. We got it used almost 3 years ago for $15 and it works like a champ.
sigh...beginning to hate this machine. did the 4hr clean, 2 rinses and that dern light is still there. thanks for the video though! It was a different option I had not tried :)
Cleaning instructions for my new ninja coffee maker iSNT ON THE INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL! It’s on the back of the actual ninja! Spin your ninja around you will see the cleaning instructions! Not in the manual tho! Weird!!
These are at Walmart for $169.00. I paid $35 on clearance at frys. Had I paid $169 I’d feel a great deal of buyers remorse, though it did come with a nice double wall carraffe; it’s one advantage. Although I’ve never heard of a four hour clean cycle, that may be better but I could buy three mr. Coffees for the price differential.
Thank you so much! I'm a visual learner and your video beat reading the instructions.

Cool. Thank you. I cannot find my manual.
I need to clean it soon.
This function doesn’t work on mine. I can’t set a 30 minute or a 4 hour timer. The clean button just flashes white and brews like normal.

Thanks for posting this. Got mine second hand and i didn't receive the manual.
Thanks man, I find myself looking to your video every few months.
Same lol

great video, and i'm not lazy :) I just didn't get an owners manual when I purchased mine at GW for $2 ;)
I have the same one but mine doesn’t have that clean max fill line!!!!
Kristina Barcenas neither does mine!
Same.... v.v
Kristina Barcenas the same here too.
There is a representative from Ninja that is also on RUclips. The only difference between your instructions and the Ninja guy, he says to fill the water reservoir to the max line. Either way, I’m sure they both will get the job done. Thanks
Not sure why, but mine does not have that half cycle fill line.. only the max fill line
Kevin Krueger yup I’m running into the same problem.
Me too!

I dont have a clean cycle max fill line 😢

My ninja doest have the cleaning line..only max
Dude thanks I never read the manual 😂. I don’t even know where it is.

Had mine a year and a half it's never displayed the time just "clean" though I clean regularly

Don .... that’s what mines doing as well
I've followed your directions and the clean light won't go away. It keeps flashing flush????
Use the same water in the container that was just used.without removing the water reservoir Press clean x2 again to start flush should be the last time .my light went off after the final flush.
I am having the same issue and my clean light is not red nor do I get a timer ...
Mine doesn’t have a clean cycle line
I lost mine or I would not be on your video and I am looking for a different issue anyway.
Thank you so much
THANK YOU!!! My manual is in a box somewhere downstairs during my kitchen remodel!
This did not work for me. It brewed the coffee like a regular pot and not the 30 minutes the video says it takes. I have a little green inside my water holder at the bottom and it didn't remove that either.
The self clean cycle only cleans the internal pipes and water heater. The water resivior needs to be cleaned manually by hand
Just take a Sharpie and color the clean light black. Works every time... 😂
I watched actual ninja video and I did it their way. Which is travel mug amount of vinegar and fill tank all the way.
Does anyone have problems with the carafe keeping coffee warm even if hot water is in it for a few minutes before brewing?
Yep. There is no way to seal up the carafe after brewing so, the temperature of the coffee cools down significantly within 45-60 min. I know this is an old question but for others who might also still have this model. We still have this model and it’s going strong. “Knock wood” & hope I didn’t jinx myself. Thanks I will need this video
No clean fill line.
Than fill it up
Well mine doesn't show a 'clean max fill' line. Ain't that a bitch. No wonder it never works
Very nice
Thank you!
Sounds dumb but my dog literally ate our manual so this is very helpful. Thanks!
sigh...beginning to hate this machine. did the 4hr clean, 2 rinses and that dern light is still there. thanks for the video though! It was a different option I had not tried :)
These measurements are off compared to the video on RUclips from the company. Interesting
Well I hit the flashing "Brew Cycle" Sooooo I will be starting over. Not sure how this travel line fill got started. This method is in the manual.
This is more correct. Thank you for this.
The measurements are correct. In my situation. The second flush i just, used the same hot water. No more light.
-^- i lost the manual
I guess i have and old model..lol
