  • Watch Strutmasters technicians install the REAR portion of our suspension conversion kit designed to fit 2011 to 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee models. Keep in mind the entire factory suspension system will need to be shut down and all four wheels are to be converted at once.
Important: There may have been updates to the installation process since this video was made. Please USE THE INSTRUCTIONS sent with the Strutmasters kit for the latest and best installation procedure.
This Jeep arrived at the Strutmasters headquarters in North Carolina with an owner in desperate need of help. They wanted an alternative to spending big bucks for a repair at a local dealer. Strutmasters was glad to come to the rescue!
We replaced the expensive and complicated factory suspension components on this Jeep with our exclusive Strutmasters suspension conversion system. Our products are designed to be simple to install, provide a great ride quality and save customers thousands of dollars versus OE replacement parts. We work on customer vehicles every day to design new products and to stay on top of the latest suspension challenges.
Strutmasters founder Chip Lofton was the first to offer a fully assembled suspension conversion kit when the air suspension failed on his personal Lincoln in 1999. The company is still headquartered in Roxboro, NC, where Lofton leads a team that strives to provide the best products and customer service in the industry.
They use premium steel coil springs that are made exclusively for them in America. All of their conversion kits are assembled in small batches by experienced employees to ensure the highest quality.
These electronically-controlled factory suspension systems are very complicated and expensive! A common failure happens when rubber in the system cracks and leaks air -- causing the onboard compressor to eventually fail. This results in an immediate loss of ride height and renders many vehicles undriveable.
Older, high-mileage vehicles will generally require multiple repairs to keep the system working. Some customers have spent upwards of five to eight thousand dollars (parts and labor) chasing a failing factory system. Don't learn the hard way! Avoid multiple repairs that come with fixing the original factory system (especially with cheap, imitation parts).
Fix It Once, Fix It Right with the original conversion kit by Strutmasters!
If you have not bought your product, jot down your full vehicle ID number (VIN) and give us a call at 866-597-2397. Our suspension experts will answer your questions and make sure you get everything you need.

Looking favorably at your total kit . Strange question. My 2914 GC . Has “ air springs /bladders “ , And conventional shocks . So if I read everything right . My two existing rear air bladders , are removed and totally not needed ? With your system installed . The rear of the GC I’m assuming does not have air activated integral struts . The rear bladders provide that / Quadra track function.
Asking because I have “service air system “
Error light . And the symptom is my rear of my car is drooped way down . Rides but it’s obvious the two bladders are not functioning. Thanks appreciate your help so I can decide on kit .

Why is the hole bigger on my 2012 jeep where the bottom locating puck goes? I purchased the kit nd don't know what to do now cus the puck fits right tru the opening.

The rear shocks don’t come put together with the top mount that bolts onto the shock like video shows and kit doesn’t come with new one
Old bracket doesn’t come off without a pass through socket or vice grips on the shock shaft because of the way the bracket is on the shock. The nut and way to hold the shock is too deep into the rubber mount.
Written instructions are missing a few steps/confusing when it says place things at the TOP of the spring but the spring top appears to have its white printed letters upside down compared to the pics in instructions. Support help is not open on weekends

    Good day, everyone!
I have a question: do you have any idea how to bypass the computer system of a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited? What happened was that we converted its front suspension to a coil spring. At first, it was doing well, but after a few days, the car wouldn't run or reverse. There is no problem with the transmission.

How do you keep ASCM Fault indicator off? Because once you temper with level sensor, ASCM activates fail safe mode and the vehicle won't be able to go beyond 60km/hrs?

    • @Strutmasters
      @Strutmasters  2 года назад

Our kits come with a suspension fault code module that clears any suspension error codes or messages and disables any fail safe or limp mode triggered by the faulty suspension system!
