nice build just adding, you can use support auras (cannibalism, vitality) on purity of fire, that wouldn't reserve extra spirit (which is probably a bug right now)
Sick tech, great video From my testing while playing barrier invocation loop infernalist, energy gained beyond the maximum energy cap on a meta gem is wasted, so that is what im assuming they meant by breakpoints. If a single instance of energy gain gives you more energy than the maximum energy cap, then its a waste. However, this is more relevant to something like barrier invocation infernalist that gains energy at large amounts per proc, while this cast on minion setup gains small amounts of energy rapidly for each fire spirit.
Doth was the guy pioneering the runic inscription cast on ignite build from a couple weeks ago, and he was saying that the "Enemies in your presence resist elemental damage based on their lowest resistance" line on the sacred flame sceptre just straight up does not work. He did some extensive testing on videos to show proof. Not sure if that matters because it's still one of the only sources of spirit that grants more dmg on a weapon anyways. Just wanted to mention.

idk if im wrong but i saw a video that explains the meta node on the tree called invocated efficiency doesnt work unless u use smthn with invocation in the name so it may be a dead point
Overwhelming Presence doesn't scale ignite damage. Threshold determines how easy it is to ignite an enemy, influencing ignite chance. To scale damage you need ignite/ailment magnitude, which this aura doesn't provide.
Wasn’t there a tech with one of the curses to ignite enemies then it would immediately consume the ignite so you could ignite them again? Would that be better than cast on minion death if you stacked curse size
Since spell have different energy gains / base cast time it get complicated to calculate the break point but the fundamental stay the same. Basically energy gain do not transfer over to the next cast so the increase in energy gain is only relevant if it allow you to proc your cast on X with fewer cast. Example : X meta gem spell require 100 energy to be cast, casting Y spell net you 25 energy With 100% energy gain you need 2 cast of Y to proc X 101% to 299% you will still need 2 cast of Y in order to proc X Effectively making % them useless

@Da5kone001 well in the first iteration of the auto spark build (I really can't remember the creator, I hadn't heard of them before), I think he was running archmage but he only had like 2k mana and was totally limited by his mana consumption. With some tweaks (as he was a self-admitted newbie to poe) I'm sure it would work far better than he had it working and he was able to do t15s already. I'll likely try this with the economy reset if it doesn't get nuked, I could see them potentially making it so that if you have zero mana, it automatically triggers the fire hit on every cast, but it does require alot to get here too so maybe not
@ only 2k mana is insane for a spell like spark where archmages flat 9% gets added to each projectile at base and then multiplied by normal spell calculations.
@@Da5kone001 oh it's definitely not a starter. And it was woolfio that did the auto spark build I looked at. The odds of getting a perfect 30% reduced Innsmouth and 17% reduced lochtonial should both be 1 in 180. The calculation for vaal orbs is a bit weirder than initially thought. Common sentiment right now is that the number gets multiplied by .78 - 1.22, then rounded. However, this math does not hold up perfectly for reduced modifiers. -15 * 1.22 = -18.3.
