This video is clear and concise, provides many examples, and feels inclusive to less knowledgeable players. I find that just being told to play more without defined goals or strategies to focus my time and energy doesn't really help those that are already frustrated.

Absolutely fantastic video. Personally I think the most important advice that launches you from an exalts/hour mindest into a divines/hour is the mentality that you have to invest to get higher returns and many players are not comfortable crossing that line early on into the game as they are not convinced of its returns or have not experienced it firsthand.
So many people are coming into this game blind and not doing hours of research into game mechanics to know what they're supposed to do. Just feeling things out in such a hostile market with such an unorthodox trading system puts off a lot of people. It's not that huge a jump to make if you just take your time with it. But it's a lot of management people don't consider "gaming" and don't want to bore over minutiae of. It's also often additional investment in terms of tabs. Like endgame becomes a death by a thousand cuts in terms of wallet and mental real estate.

6:16 I say, it depends on the build. If your build does not use Heralds, 1-skill-clear-screen, or Heralds, then stick to Trial. For example, doing breach with minion build is just not worth it. Someone will say "I can do breach fine" yeah no, minion build is just real bad compared to, say, herald invoker, or spark stormweaver, to which most people run.
I've run probably a couple hundred trials of chaos, this is what I've found. You never get valuable loot from the final fountain as it's all corrupted and missing soul core slots and at least 6 modifiers. It's almost not even worth picking up. I've never gotten a single Azcapa soul core from the loot fountain. Apparently they are possible but INSANELY rare! Just assume you won't get any because you probably won't. The only valuable item from the Trialmaster boss is the shield and that is fairly rare as well. For me with 150 item find it drops about once every 5-8 trialmaster runs. BUT if you do get a good roll they can be worth several divines. You will most likely get the mask which is completely worthless. You can also get a belt which is worthless but that's a bit more rare than the mask. The trial becomes extremely tedious after a while and is not fun at all, I'd probably recommend just doing maps and grinding breach or rituals instead. I've never gotten the diamond so I can't comment on that but I've fought the Trialmaster about 40 times so that tells you the drop rates.

Chasing citadels can be really good, especially if you can juice up your citadel maps to get multiple fragments, and you can do other map mechanics along the way.
The most important thing before any of this is to have a strong build, which is unfortunately pretty hard for non meta chasers like myself. Still I am able to comfortably farm trials of chaos and sekhema at least which is consistently profitable, also not mentioned here is selling white bases such as sapphire rings, stellar amulets and heavy belts to bulk traders in TFT discord is another way to get some easy currency.
honestly i am not fit to teach people how to loot cause i'm very bad at it myself LOL. i'd suggest installing a price checker like exiled exchange or sidekick and any time you see something that might look good (to you, i fully mean for it to be subjective) you check its price. it's a good way to learn what's sought after and what's not, and it'll stick better with you than trying to remember things from a guide. hope this helps, sorry for the nonanswer
Sekhema trials are the way to go. Token 80. I run quantity relic drop + merchant options. So boss drops at least 2 relics. Desperate alliance relics sells around 3 div. You also get chance at sanctum sapphire from sanctum chests after boss (~11 div); if not you'll at least get a ton of jewels / time loss jewels. After first floor can get ilvl 81 bases so chance at nice crafts (35% movespeed, +5 skills wands, etc). If you have good boss dmg can run DA relic and get time lost diamonds which can get lucky and find a 20 - 70 div variant, unid ~5div. Kind of hit or miss but can hit big. Prefer this over running a ton of maps to set up towers/maps, instead just run a token. Can also port people in for last boss to get them 4th ascend, so can get like extra 20-40 ex there
Volatile fiends are cakewalk if you run herald of ice builds since the volatiles won't spawn if no corpse is left behind, only time you need to watch out for volatiles are the bosses.
I make about 30-60div after a few hours of grinding out Rituals. With the right setup and knowledge you can manage to make easy divines by just playing instead of spending all your time trading and crafting.
I'm at a decent enough spot for currency at this point, and I tend to go with guilt instills rather than paranoia. Paranoia is absolutely better, however guilt is just so cheap that you can throw it on every single map without even thinking about it and get some pack size benefit even while just traveling around the atlas and using super low tier maps. Also absolutely play in a way that is fun for you. If you're not having fun, play a different way or play a different game entirely. Don't make yourself miserable while engaging with a hobby meant for fun.
Thanks for vid. My issue is, my rarity gear is my 2 Ventors which equate to total sum of 20%. I am barely rescapped but have no issue with the content I run (Trials of Chaos and Sekhema(for ascending people but dont sell many runs. Maybe like two people a day - still, gives access to Zarokh drops and caches, seems worth it.) Breaches... Not really well with Frost Skeletons. Have considered Ritual but buy in is expensive. Sounds like from your vid that I should get more rarity gear. Will help me in any content.
You can reliably make 4 divines an hour with trial of sekhemas. Buy the relic for 3 divines, sell the jewel the final boss drops at 100% for 5 divines. You can do 2 trials per hour. This means those 4 divines are GUARANTEED. On top of that you gain a ton of jewels, most garbage but some good ones giving you on average another divine an hour.
Last 13 seconds of the video are the most important. POE (1 and 2) endgame can feel like a chore, that's the point you should take some time to think about it
Rarity past 200% isn't necessarily bad. Based on the latest 'science' it seems that 200% rarity saturates the 'Rare+' currency bonus, i.e. you don't get more divine/chaos/exalteds, however, the increased rarity past 200% does increase the amount of high tier unidentified items and possibly this includes ultra-rare unique which are thought to have a hidden tiering system. So while it doesn't lead to an increase in floor currency it still leads to better drops. Often, high tier unidentified items can sell for quite a lot in the long run and finding a floor headhunter, astramentis, wolf hat etc. is very lucrative. Nice video. I wanted to ask about your POV about sekhema. You mean that only doing 4 floors with that specific relic is more profitable than breach right? I recently became able to run a normal 4-floor sekhema but I also have my breach atlas complete (and 2 points into simulacrum) so I'm not sure what to focus on
If I were you, I would stick to breaches since it’s a lot safer to farm and you already have max breach atlas. Make sure you beat simulacrum one more time so you can get the double splinters node in the atlas too

The market changes prices wildly over the day which sucks depending on when you normally play, when less people are on to trade things can get a lot more expensive.
it's quite rare--it took me 79 runs and 19 hours (albeit with quite a bit of stalling in between) to get one. also each attempt costs like 100+ exalteds
I am running trial of chaos easily making 1div an hour. My issue is I'm looking at all item drops to see if they are worth it. I need like 10 dump tabs lol.
I have plenty of areas with towers bunched together but somehow the waypoints don’t connect. Shit makes me so mad I’ve stopped mapping. Too many random dead ends where points right next to each other don’t connect?!?!
So am I understanding it right though in order to get any Breach points I will need to gather up enough splinters to make a breachstone and then fight that dude with backhands?
"spend money to get money" doesn't work anymore; few days ago ggg launched a sudden server shutdown; before I was dropping divines like hell on juiced maps, after that literally zero. There is some workaround ofc but even like that setting things up requires tablets which are way too expensive rn: u need to spend AT LEAST 600 ex for 6 tablets and in return you get some divine (like 2-5 in 2 evenings of farm realistically); after that it's just pure luck, and you spent literally hours for this... on top of that the price for tablets keep rising(7 breaches ones start selling for 1 div) and some1 is playing with market causing a contraction; you can't literally make a game plan rn, unless you play 24/7 and keep looking at market on a h by h basis. The solution is quite simple: gg has to put a cap at prices so that tgey can't grow/crash too soon; even tho it makes the game economy more "boring" it also prevents traders to blow market up like it's happening rn.
Its just RNG. I'm getting way more divine orb drops per map now, since they actually buffed rare mob quantity and modifiers on the patch. Also you don't need to have perfect tablets. Do you have tablet quantity specced on your tree? I literally have a full quad tab full of tablets that I can't use up. From the patch: Map areas now contain a minimum of 3 Rare Monsters. A number of Maps now contain 50% more Rare Monsters.
Dude quit spreading misinfo about breach tablets...i get 10 map breach tablets on trade for like 75 exalts all the time...if you are paying divines then you are getting ripped off....breach tablets drop like candy so they are not that high in demand. Ritual tablet 10 maps however.....

I feel like I'm stuck when it comes to magic find. I can afford gear thats good enough to run easy t15 maps with 150% MF or I can use gear that has zero magic find but can run juiced t15+2 deli maps. If I try to find gear thats comparable to mine with MF then it costs like 1-10 divs a piece
Gonna be real, it feels bad. I've been playing a lot, 130hrs in 2 weeks while working a full time job a lot. Enjoying every minute of time until recently, I specced into item rarity on my gear, upgraded everything and now suddenly I am making NO divines. Meanwhile friends of mine who play for 2-3 hours a night are finding 3-5 div worth of items in their sessions. In a last ditch attempt to make some money I spent the rest of my currency to farm tier 4 xesht and arbiter and did not even break even. It feels like my account is banned from finding divs.
yeah cold streaks are very real in this game. at times it feels like you're not playing the same game as everyone else with the profits they're churning (i felt this the hardest about 3 weeks into the league). if you stick it out i guarantee you'll be luckier but sometimes the game is cruel and it can be really demotivating
@@yangmalyang Good news is that I'm just item illiterate and had been finding incredible items but not understanding what to list them as. IE: +5 skill level high % spirit scepters, good jewels, etc. I think focusing exclusively on currency was giving me tunnel vision.
There's genuinely no point in trying to make new builds and amass vast amount of wealth right now. GGG themselves said that any massive changes/balance will be paired with a complete economy reset. The moment GGG make a massive buff/nerfs/remake, it will be back to square one, back to heavy grinding again. I can already see the POE 2 community will mald about an economy reset, while POE 1 vet will comeback with a fresh outlook because they haven't been grinding currency like a POE Streamer.

Ritual while simulacrum and citadel farming is also very solid. Its safe, doesnt require much setup, and good profit. It also feels like just regular mapping than minmaxing like breach setup does.

im making good currency, but like you say the market is so fucked its basically like im making less currency, which makes me not really wana play anymore. each upgrade is like 30hrs of gameplay for 5% stats
I think the best content is linked to the build. Some builds are just bad por some type of content. My HOI Monk sucks in delirium simulacrums, the HOI just don't work at all. The cost to flex the build is just to high, so i just don't run simulacrums. In Breachs, i one shot the screen, so Breach is much better for me. Trial of Chaos is a pain in the ass. Boring as fuck. I know it has good profit, but i don't want to do.
Rituals are the way to go if you can get the atlas tree done. A audience is giving me 7-8 divines a pop right now....Some nights i find 3 in 4 hours and some nights 1 or none....still for the time im putting in 20+ divines some nights is insane.
IDing is gambling, you can get something good, or something bad. You can sell it for somewhere in the middle of those 2 results and let someone else do the gambling.
So ive done about 30 of Chaos Trials, in my first 5, i got Adored and 2 shields, and decided to id the adorned and id and corrupt both shields (both got 650+ roll). That was a big fat mistake, got 36 roll on the jewel and both shields divined down, so lost about 80-100 div :) After the first 5 runs, ive gotten only Helmets and Belts. Definitely not worth buying and running the boss , and on avarage calculating only the soulcores and fragments, i got about 100 ex per run. So, in my opinion, it definitely needs some work, maybe they could add a atlas tree for Ultimatum like in poe1, that allows you to remove survive and escort, or make it possible to add waystone drop chances to the trials so you can drop several frags at once. Also still many buggs, if you accidentally blink ontop of the platform before you finish a wave, it won't go up when you finish, also if you blink ahead to the boss fights and kill them before the trialmaster shows up, you cant enter next area. Hopefully they give it some attention in next league update 🙏
i think 100ex per run for trial of chaos is pretty good, they just need to find some way to make it faster, considering 1 run takes around 10-15minutes. the way it currently is, its boring and tedious and hell to run. 1 map can take also 10-15minutes (and you definitely wont get 100 ex from 1 map unless you got lucky with drops) but they aren't as boring and tedious to run compared to trial of chaos.

I regret picking infernalist. I dont want to play demon mode, they nerfed "cast on" skills, so my only option is playing minions. But with minions, you play so slow without a certain pricey body armor that costs hundreds of divine. But to farm divines, you need to play breaches. Im too lazy to start over my a lvl 90 character. Playing party play also not a thing for infernalist minion build, people hate playing with us because "fps drop" even though most of people also get more mobs modifiers for themself. Now I can only wish GGG buff minion's AI more and give them movement speed to keep up for nische content like breach.
79 runs of trial of chaos sounds like literal torture. That is what like at absolute fastest 20 minutes probably closer to 30 minutes per trial. I would rather stab an icepick in my brain. At least sekhemas you can run all 4 floors in under an hour and it feels like you are getting value from your time.

I make about 30-60div after a few hours of grinding out Rituals. With the right setup and knowledge you can manage to make easy divines by just playing instead of spending all your time trading and crafting.

I'm at a decent enough spot for currency at this point, and I tend to go with guilt instills rather than paranoia. Paranoia is absolutely better, however guilt is just so cheap that you can throw it on every single map without even thinking about it and get some pack size benefit even while just traveling around the atlas and using super low tier maps.
Also absolutely play in a way that is fun for you. If you're not having fun, play a different way or play a different game entirely. Don't make yourself miserable while engaging with a hobby meant for fun.
Thanks for vid. My issue is, my rarity gear is my 2 Ventors which equate to total sum of 20%. I am barely rescapped but have no issue with the content I run (Trials of Chaos and Sekhema(for ascending people but dont sell many runs. Maybe like two people a day - still, gives access to Zarokh drops and caches, seems worth it.) Breaches... Not really well with Frost Skeletons. Have considered Ritual but buy in is expensive. Sounds like from your vid that I should get more rarity gear. Will help me in any content.
hmm, rarity isn't really needed in either trials. if what you're doing works no need to change anything imo

You can reliably make 4 divines an hour with trial of sekhemas. Buy the relic for 3 divines, sell the jewel the final boss drops at 100% for 5 divines. You can do 2 trials per hour. This means those 4 divines are GUARANTEED. On top of that you gain a ton of jewels, most garbage but some good ones giving you on average another divine an hour.
Last 13 seconds of the video are the most important. POE (1 and 2) endgame can feel like a chore, that's the point you should take some time to think about it
Rarity past 200% isn't necessarily bad. Based on the latest 'science' it seems that 200% rarity saturates the 'Rare+' currency bonus, i.e. you don't get more divine/chaos/exalteds, however, the increased rarity past 200% does increase the amount of high tier unidentified items and possibly this includes ultra-rare unique which are thought to have a hidden tiering system. So while it doesn't lead to an increase in floor currency it still leads to better drops. Often, high tier unidentified items can sell for quite a lot in the long run and finding a floor headhunter, astramentis, wolf hat etc. is very lucrative.

Nice video. I wanted to ask about your POV about sekhema. You mean that only doing 4 floors with that specific relic is more profitable than breach right? I recently became able to run a normal 4-floor sekhema but I also have my breach atlas complete (and 2 points into simulacrum) so I'm not sure what to focus on
If I were you, I would stick to breaches since it’s a lot safer to farm and you already have max breach atlas. Make sure you beat simulacrum one more time so you can get the double splinters node in the atlas too

I am running trial of chaos easily making 1div an hour. My issue is I'm looking at all item drops to see if they are worth it. I need like 10 dump tabs lol.
I have plenty of areas with towers bunched together but somehow the waypoints don’t connect. Shit makes me so mad I’ve stopped mapping. Too many random dead ends where points right next to each other don’t connect?!?!

The effect does matter on delirium. Run Greed for increased rarity. They are 1ex each.
So am I understanding it right though in order to get any Breach points I will need to gather up enough splinters to make a breachstone and then fight that dude with backhands?

"spend money to get money" doesn't work anymore; few days ago ggg launched a sudden server shutdown; before I was dropping divines like hell on juiced maps, after that literally zero. There is some workaround ofc but even like that setting things up requires tablets which are way too expensive rn: u need to spend AT LEAST 600 ex for 6 tablets and in return you get some divine (like 2-5 in 2 evenings of farm realistically); after that it's just pure luck, and you spent literally hours for this... on top of that the price for tablets keep rising(7 breaches ones start selling for 1 div) and some1 is playing with market causing a contraction; you can't literally make a game plan rn, unless you play 24/7 and keep looking at market on a h by h basis.
The solution is quite simple: gg has to put a cap at prices so that tgey can't grow/crash too soon; even tho it makes the game economy more "boring" it also prevents traders to blow market up like it's happening rn.

Its just RNG. I'm getting way more divine orb drops per map now, since they actually buffed rare mob quantity and modifiers on the patch. Also you don't need to have perfect tablets. Do you have tablet quantity specced on your tree? I literally have a full quad tab full of tablets that I can't use up.

Map areas now contain a minimum of 3 Rare Monsters.
A number of Maps now contain 50% more Rare Monsters.
Dude quit spreading misinfo about breach tablets...i get 10 map breach tablets on trade for like 75 exalts all the time...if you are paying divines then you are getting ripped off....breach tablets drop like candy so they are not that high in demand. Ritual tablet 10 maps however.....

I would also add, learn how to flip currency to make passive income while you’re doing any of these other activities. Can be done as soon as you unlock the exchange in the campaign.

If you can run T4 breach boss just get breachstone for 200ex, spend 5mins to do breach, sell HowA with slapped on socket for 3+ div, loop
I found that running maps with 400% is the sweet spot and I do run them when I do citadels... you get around 1-2 divs from those maps!!!
400% of what? Waystones drop? How does that affect Divines i dont get any Divines in citadels usually

I feel like I'm stuck when it comes to magic find. I can afford gear thats good enough to run easy t15 maps with 150% MF or I can use gear that has zero magic find but can run juiced t15+2 deli maps. If I try to find gear thats comparable to mine with MF then it costs like 1-10 divs a piece
Gonna be real, it feels bad. I've been playing a lot, 130hrs in 2 weeks while working a full time job a lot. Enjoying every minute of time until recently, I specced into item rarity on my gear, upgraded everything and now suddenly I am making NO divines. Meanwhile friends of mine who play for 2-3 hours a night are finding 3-5 div worth of items in their sessions. In a last ditch attempt to make some money I spent the rest of my currency to farm tier 4 xesht and arbiter and did not even break even. It feels like my account is banned from finding divs.
yeah cold streaks are very real in this game. at times it feels like you're not playing the same game as everyone else with the profits they're churning (i felt this the hardest about 3 weeks into the league). if you stick it out i guarantee you'll be luckier but sometimes the game is cruel and it can be really demotivating
@@yangmalyang Good news is that I'm just item illiterate and had been finding incredible items but not understanding what to list them as. IE: +5 skill level high % spirit scepters, good jewels, etc. I think focusing exclusively on currency was giving me tunnel vision.

There's genuinely no point in trying to make new builds and amass vast amount of wealth right now. GGG themselves said that any massive changes/balance will be paired with a complete economy reset. The moment GGG make a massive buff/nerfs/remake, it will be back to square one, back to heavy grinding again.
I can already see the POE 2 community will mald about an economy reset, while POE 1 vet will comeback with a fresh outlook because they haven't been grinding currency like a POE Streamer.

Ritual while simulacrum and citadel farming is also very solid. Its safe, doesnt require much setup, and good profit. It also feels like just regular mapping than minmaxing like breach setup does.

im making good currency, but like you say the market is so fucked its basically like im making less currency, which makes me not really wana play anymore. each upgrade is like 30hrs of gameplay for 5% stats

My HOI Monk sucks in delirium simulacrums, the HOI just don't work at all. The cost to flex the build is just to high, so i just don't run simulacrums. In Breachs, i one shot the screen, so Breach is much better for me.
Trial of Chaos is a pain in the ass. Boring as fuck. I know it has good profit, but i don't want to do.
Sirgog and Kripparian rarity found are hard capped at 100 and that 80 is enough..

Rituals are the way to go if you can get the atlas tree done. A audience is giving me 7-8 divines a pop right now....Some nights i find 3 in 4 hours and some nights 1 or none....still for the time im putting in 20+ divines some nights is insane.

So ive done about 30 of Chaos Trials, in my first 5, i got Adored and 2 shields, and decided to id the adorned and id and corrupt both shields (both got 650+ roll). That was a big fat mistake, got 36 roll on the jewel and both shields divined down, so lost about 80-100 div :) After the first 5 runs, ive gotten only Helmets and Belts. Definitely not worth buying and running the boss , and on avarage calculating only the soulcores and fragments, i got about 100 ex per run. So, in my opinion, it definitely needs some work, maybe they could add a atlas tree for Ultimatum like in poe1, that allows you to remove survive and escort, or make it possible to add waystone drop chances to the trials so you can drop several frags at once. Also still many buggs, if you accidentally blink ontop of the platform before you finish a wave, it won't go up when you finish, also if you blink ahead to the boss fights and kill them before the trialmaster shows up, you cant enter next area. Hopefully they give it some attention in next league update 🙏
i think 100ex per run for trial of chaos is pretty good, they just need to find some way to make it faster, considering 1 run takes around 10-15minutes. the way it currently is, its boring and tedious and hell to run. 1 map can take also 10-15minutes (and you definitely wont get 100 ex from 1 map unless you got lucky with drops) but they aren't as boring and tedious to run compared to trial of chaos.

I regret picking infernalist. I dont want to play demon mode, they nerfed "cast on" skills, so my only option is playing minions. But with minions, you play so slow without a certain pricey body armor that costs hundreds of divine. But to farm divines, you need to play breaches. Im too lazy to start over my a lvl 90 character. Playing party play also not a thing for infernalist minion build, people hate playing with us because "fps drop" even though most of people also get more mobs modifiers for themself.
Now I can only wish GGG buff minion's AI more and give them movement speed to keep up for nische content like breach.
Got like 10 divines but trading sucks, nobody responds, so gonna hold on to them until they give us an offline trading or something somehow.

you may not be looking at unidentified ones, as poorly idenitifed ones are very cheap

79 runs of trial of chaos sounds like literal torture. That is what like at absolute fastest 20 minutes probably closer to 30 minutes per trial. I would rather stab an icepick in my brain. At least sekhemas you can run all 4 floors in under an hour and it feels like you are getting value from your time.
