    Should I do more of these? Let me know if you have any advice on what to sketch or talk about next!

      Would love to see your process for creating interesting compositions/ backgrounds for your character scenes, how to best show off personality and draw emphasis to characters without forgetting the environment around them

    Would love to see some more videos like this! Most artists do not share this kind of process or simply skim over it quickly, so content like this is highly appreciated. Btw I'm kinda jealous of the PS5 that is always looming in the background xD

    Thanks for the video! always learning somthing new :)
    i have a question, do you have any plans on making a video on light and shadow? i feel like my line work is getting better, and was wondering how to go about laying the shadows in.
    Love your videos keep doing what your doing, Thank you!

    Mr Mcburnie thank you so much for your amazing content it helps so much! Something that I haven’t been able to find anywhere is tutorials on how to design, sketch and color Spaceships. I found one Arron Blaise tutorial on drawing a spaceship with 2 point perspective but it’s way too brief. Would be so grateful as I love the sci-fi genre. I remember seeing your work on a futuristic motorbike you made, beautiful! Thanks so much take care

    That was really nice to watch, please do more videos like these.
    Also a question, is it okay if it takes me a lot of time just to do a sketch and not rush things? Is developing speed really important?

    • @Somatisandro
      @Somatisandro 2 года назад +1

      Speed is good when you work with deadlines constantly. But that stuff will develop on itself, don't worry about it.

      @@Somatisandro tbh i kinda want to know the answer to op's question too; ive found ive been getting _slower_ over time with my drawings, and i don't really want to spent 100 hrs (no exaggeration) on a single uncolored drawing over months again because it's actually been bad for my health

    • @Somatisandro
      @Somatisandro 2 года назад

      @@zaqareemalcolm Speed in drawing always develops over time. Nothing is going to change the fact that you are going to spend several hours in 1 drawing. If it's bad for your health you should take regular breaks, check your posture, use the paper in a 45 degree angle, and so on

    • @zaqareemalcolm
      @zaqareemalcolm 2 года назад

      @@Somatisandro idk, I feel like there's a point something wrong with my process because I used to be able to accomplish similar results under a shorter time, and it's very discouraging because I want to be able to finish stuff under a week again (meeting imposed comic deadlines, while also having energy leftover to pursue other hobbies/artistic pursuit etc.), I do take breaks while doing everything on digital, yet im still chipping away on the same drawing since _the beginning of May_

    I tend to pace my drawing out so long so I’m happy to see your full time process videos.
