What challenges have you faced when drawing trees? Let me know if you have any follow up questions or ideas we can fold into future tree videos!

Yay!! Thanks a lot for making this useful video!! I had been waiting for this!!
I had a question about tree, especially designing. So in fact, every tree has 3 main parts: trunk, body, and branch? So we can change the structure of these 3 parts to make many types of trees?
P/s: Yesss!! I am a big fan of Alex Alice since i found his awesome comic "Castle in the Star" 🤩

Okay so this might be a comment with a bit of grammatical errors I'm doing this with my phone's microphone I don't want to have to write so much, sorry in advance and thank you for your time. This video taught me that I have to work more on circles, cylinders, boxes etc. I thought I had worked on that enough, but I have not. I also need to work on perspective. I thought I had seen two or three videos about perspective and that be it but seems like I have to read framed ink one and two and to watch many many more videos about it. At least I got how to decompose that super complex form or looks of the tree. I got how to decompose it. It was an amazing video. An eye opening one for me. Thank you very much. If you want to make a part 2 and a part three and a part 4 series on trees and I'll watch it all. I even took notes while watching this one. On my first comment I had just skimmed through the video to know what's about. This comment I am making it after I completely completely washed the full video. I took notes, I drew alongside you and I realized I really need to work on my line confidence, better posture, form, shapes, perspective. oh my gosh it's a lot.. Thank you, thank you. Edit- I added some commas. 😉

My trees always look too regular and even. Unless I'm directly copying a reference (and even sometimes when I am) they end up looking like a tube with equal sized branches sticking out like arms stuck into a snowman. I also struggle with how to end branches. They always seem to look too stubby or too snakey

I seem to struggle the most with shading the foliage and just laying down the foliage so that it’s coherent.
And I just realized I’m about a year late for this, cheers.

Codex..the life of a tree, kind of sad in a way,I think if tree's could run,run from us thy would.. great video.. good thing when mankind is gone mother nature will take over the planet, and then a thousand years later you will have trees growing out the center of buildings destroying them to rubble, than the planet will be full of trees again..
