Honestly infuriating. Call it a skill issue or whatever but because you have like 3 of these guys spamming 6x Phoenix, the entire game is over in like 2 minutes and you haven't even popped flares once let alone fired a missile of your own
F-4S is much more of a problem, at least for me. Avoiding sparrows is much less consistent by multipath now and, for some reason, radar of F-4S cant be chaffed in the rear aspect, so basically the only consistent way to dodge aim-7 is to notch
15:39 unfortunately squadron vehicles (and stuff associated with them like mods and backups and the talisman) never go on sale, so if you're gonna buy it the timing doesn't really matter
Gotta say, Mig 23ML is barely playable after the changes. The radar is fucked (since you cant use MTI when you want), its difficult to get a lock, you need to actually think about where you aim the ACM and it just sucks overall. Im glad I already got USSR grinded out, because right now it really sucks.

DEFYN, in migs 23, 27 speed loss has been REDUCED (better energy retention), so right now they are more flyable. Also regarding radar, right now it is garbage. MTI works only when you look at the ground

As a very avid Tornado IDS fan (Aced both of the German ones) I am begging you to not spend money on it, it is genuinely one of the worst premium aircraft for the BR, it barely even manages to outrun Phantoms when bombing bases
Match maker at 11.3 been pretty bad. It’s a lot of full up tiers since the update. Currently enjoying 12.3
I must say that the J35XS can be worth the money if you want to grind the whole tech tree, take only flares and watch out for radar missiles, I easily get 4+ kill games in it, and if someone is up high at the start of the match try the the giraffe maneuver and oh try to keep the irst on most of the time.

Hey @DEFYN, any chance you can modify your decal to not have the text angled? I have to waste two decal slots to use it mirrored because when the text is angled, the mirror function will angle it on the other side in oposite direction.
Last update really killed what postive attitude I had left towards WT, I think im sitting out of this sale too. Only good thing would be Defyn getting some dollars .
The mig-23ML/MLD/MLA RN, are basically on par with the F-4E rn flight model wise. (as it should be realistically)
The AIM-7Fs on the Phantom are good but the F-4J/S radar is still very easy to notch
I’m gonna say it, the a-10 is amazing for grinding the us tree, arguably the best when played right. Don’t focus on bombing bases, focus on destroying ground targets, force head ons with enemies who want to fight, use your overpowered missiles to your advantage, and it’s a great jet, even for dogfighting.

I have the J7D to grind China. I love MiG21s and I don’t regret buying it as I am having a lot of fun with it.
There was some buffs for MiG-23, wing sweep should be faster and energy retension should be better if I remember correctly. But better look into datamines if the premium version also have these changes.
The best thing I did in the last year anniversary is buy 25k ge from sold event vehicles and buy a bunch of talismans, now I don't have to worry about sales besides SL or Premium account

About the A-10A, even after going from 10.0 -> 10.3, it still sucks in air rb, as you said its slow as balls and does not reach battlefield.
However if you play air simulator mode, that thing is a fucking beast in both air combat and ground strike. You will just need to get used to playing on sinai, tunisia, or any map that doesnt have a lot of trees or ground clutter to easily find convoys and targets. It is amazing for dogfights, if you play your cards right, you win every dogfight since there is literally nothing at the same battlerating that can turn fight an A-10. Also with the premium time and the 15 days premium it comes with, you probably grind like half your TT if you full time grind in air sim since the rewards are crazy good.
Also keep in mind, your situational awareness is comprised mainly of seeing where your teammates are, checking your RWR, and looking around. If you can manage all of this, 1000% get the A-10A over the F-4S.
Apart from air simulator, this thing is also good in ground sb, and ground rb. Naturally a flying automatic boomstick with a fuckton of countermeasures works very well against ground targets.
You can use the t2 to grind the f16aj
Edit: I mean the TT version as well. Because of some funky researching mechanics, you even get 110% multiplier on the grind.
You can, however it's not purchasable (atm) anymore. So, anyone that didn't already have the premium T2 won't have a decent Japanese Air grinder.

Problem with draken, that now it is always playing at 11.3-11.7, where everyone have better missiles and that gun, it so hard to shoot with it and this jet hasnt TWS. Best rofl is that mirage is best jet to buy right now

I would beg to differ on the f1c-200. Ive had it for almost a year now. It was pretty bad when top tier was 12.3. It was good when top tier was 12.7. Right now its pretty rough. F4s's and f14s run rampant with their radar missiles and you cant reliably avoid them by flying low anymore. Especially if youre going for a base. To combat this, you only have 2 radar missiles that have 0 chaff rejection. Once you get close range, the magics are amazing and its a decent gun fighter, but you will die a lot flying to the battlefield and from 3rd party radar missiles. Its a fun plane, but air rb at that br is pretty rought, and having borderline useless radar missiles only makes it worse.
The F1C right now only has 2 usable magic 2 missiles, because the 2 radar ones are just horrible
Its RWR gives you a launch warning (the CW warning) at least. Most planes at that BR don't get launch warnings.
Imagine if su39 got r77 and r27r and r27t missiles (as id does use them irl) anytime soon....its sales and performance would go through the roof!
They kinda slammed the ML with the radar as well. MTI mode is automatic and only activates when a target has ground behind them... meaning you usually have to be higher altitude than them for it to work. They did change it to be able to carry a T and R now however. My personal experience flying it a bit just after the update: oof.

F4EJ ADTW is really bad. It should get Aim9p-4 to balance it out, or at the very least give it Aim 7E-2

With the J-7D I found the PL-5B's very reliable super fast off the rail and They love to ignore F-4 flares lol
Learned old top tier in that thing, grinded out the whole air tree air combat only, PL5s do a lot of the heaving lifting tho, magic 1s are another reliable option as they also got buffed with the magic 2s
Yeah I LOVE it (the J7E), although idk how ive never thought of talismaning it, ive still got another 5-6 maybe even 7 jets to go and ive got some ge lying around.

Personally I still think talisman + premium time are a way better deal than high tier premium
For a price of a high tier premium, you can get multiple talisman and premium time for a long time
Or just buy longer premium time, I fully grind out multiple tree just with premium time, I may got a new stuff a week or two late, but fine by me

I'm still a beginner, I have the Russian tanks BR 5.0 and now I want to level up planes. Which premium plane would you recommend for effective leveling, even as a beginner?
few notes i think are important
mig23ml, mirageF1C-200, J35XS, J7D and mig21bis all suffer from a bad rwr ( or lack of it) and in the current patch i have found it to be insanely punishing since notching missles with spo10 is hard while with mirage detectour or just your eyes in the mirage and the draken is borderline impossible at least for me . personally i would hold off with playing those premiums until they revert the multipath change and hopefully they do
the rwr's on all the other planes are either a non issue like on the a5c orrange from good enough on kfir and F4EJ to really good on the strike fighters and maybe the f4s tho i heard this one struggles with detecting pd radars
Mirage's rwr actually gives an indication if you are locked by a missile, so it is pretty decent. Sadly only shows 4 directions

My guy, I consistantly do well with my F4S. Average of 1-2 bases AND 1-3 kills per game. Airframe? Hella meh. Loadouts? Perfect for grinding.

A-5C is a unique plane since it’s a MiG19 with 2 magic 1s and 18 counter measures. Too bad the guns are ass but you can get at least one or two kills before you have to use them
The mig23ML radar now only has MTI/PD at 2k maximum altitude above the ground, you cannot select modes anymore, and you have to look down to trigger MTI/PD, so at most you only get 10seconds of MTI until you die hitting the floor. Its not worth it even at half off right now.

@@riddhirahman Su-7 is terrible. Most boring plane you can imagine! I recommend the Su-11 and gridning pvp, otherwise the MiG-23ML is good. I've the nerfs are going to get reverted, nad/or the br going to get lower.

In the old days, with nation-locked maps and Flavor of the Month, we tended to dismiss win ratio, but now is it a better indicator of skill or not ?

Win/loss percent is indisputable, when deciding if a plane/player is good or not. Kill/death would makeup a bad win/loss, or showcase its the pilot not just the plane.

Did the multipathing change affect SARH missiles too? I thought it was only the ARH missiles. I haven’t noticed a difference with SARH’s.

multipathing happens with any radar waves , it happens in water with visible light where a object looks further away in the reflection than it is under the water

I bought the F-4S because I love the phantom and I already know how to play top tier due to playing tech tree vehicles. I suggest everyone does the same. ONLY buy a vehicle because you like it and know roughly how to use it. You’ll have much more fun with a vehicle you love than one you just heard was powerful

Greek Apache is a great heli to buy due to that fact that it has AGR-20 a quicker way to get kills against SPAA

@@pendraig5446 When at a distance of 4km at 1100m, the AGR-20A reaches the target in roughly 12.2 seconds, while the Hellfire 114B reaches the target in roughly 13.7 seconds. Yes it is faster, but it probably wont make a difference.

If someone is wondering about buying the MiG - 23 ML - just don't. I am not an expert in playing with it, but I still feel a clear difference between post and pre nerf. It's much more sluggish, less stable at higher speeds, and on top of that the rather poor radar it had previously has been made even worse.

The improved Baz didn't get tws mode on radar and also no hmd that makes it worse then the other f15c but I do hope as I fly it mysel that it will also get it

ATM they have the APG-63 it should have the apg-70 or later versions of the apg-63 (the entire fucking reason they updated all their C/D/A models to the improved baz platform and the improved baz is missing its full glass cockpit

Snail actually surprised us with a decent sale this summer and I would gladly sell my Object 292 for 124-125 gaijin coins last month to buy three 35 GJN vehicles now (marketplace takes a 15% fee) if I knew I'd have time to use the premium time they give at its fullest. But Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail expansion is coming tomorrow, so I'm gonna wait until Gaijin birthday and hope that the planes I wanted would be on sale. Also that tank dropped in price significantly due to the ongoing sale so there's no point to sell it now for cheap either.
Also, if you are on PC and want to buy a pack, don't spend your real money on it. Grind an event or two and sell the vehicles in a few months. It is not that hard or time-consuming if you know what you are doing. Feeding the developer is not worth it when they release updates with so many critical bugs or straight up blockers unfixed and ignore player reports on their bug-reporting platform. If you play on console, well, I won't judge you if you do spend your cash, because you don't have the access to the marketplace.
Getting an actual job rather than grinding these Gajin events is more efficient and time saving.

I´m still struggling with the concept of why one would buy a single vehicle to grind (ideally) the whole tech tree in the first place.
I get that not everyone likes to play every vehicle as there are some truly challenging amongst them but in the end you play for the gaming experiencing of playing the whole variety of those tech tree vehicles, dont you? Apart from the fact that its good to start in the more forgiving lower ranks and gain experience as you work your way up all to the jet age as the complexity increases with every rank. The game wont be fun, it will be hell if you join the top tier ranks as a newbie.
And once you grinded all vehicles with just playing the hell out of a single vehicle and finally can start playing the tech tree ones you craved... you´re still in the position of facing the most horrible grind: the modules. And during that grind you would have made enough RP to unlock large parts of the TT anyways.
If premium vehicles would at least allow you to also invest your RP to grind the modules of TT vehicles I would see a purpose to buy them.. but with that not being the case why do you guys spend so much money for premiums?

calling the KVT the m18 of 10.3 is a bit misleading, the KVT is one of the better armoured tanks at 10.3, losing basically only to the t80 in terms of raw armour, you can bait alot of shots into that lfp. its just fast as hell and has fast reloading but relatively low pen gun.
