Well played my friend. You really demonstrated how to use your time well. I love how you didn't get too stressed when the clock got low and you let the increment carry you through. Was an excellent demonstrated of time management.
Another interesting game! Would bet that the engine was trying to play h4 & g5 throughout the latter part of the game :). I reckon at around 16:00 Be2 (Bd5!?) was clearly a better move, because after Kb1 the rook on d1 is a type 1 unprotected piece (in Naroditskys terminology) and should be first thing to look at in calculations. BTW Naroditsky also checks for type 2 (1 defender) which often lead to deflection, attraction and decoy tactics. Lichess has a themes problem feature (in the browser version) where you can practice these and also... back rank tactics 😇 & endgames etc
Yeah Be2 would've been much safer, keep the rook defended on d1 and whack the king on b1 to defend a2. H4 g6 ideas will always exist there and maybe I should've gone for them, I think I just wanted to keep a solid pawn chain on the KS to keep his pieces locked out of the game (particularly the light squared bishop)
I thought computer would choose g4 due to the attacking nature of the move. Threat the standard g5 Qh5+ At 48;3p then also g4 to develop the bishop to g2, and maybe Qf3 O-O-O At 58:25 you played Rd1 but toyed with Re6 but then black plays Bf7 forcing the rook back to e3. It did not come up in analysis though. It was very complex and could not figure it all out but saw f7 as being the best. Interesting game in that it did get very complicated which means it can be instructive as there were a number of ways to go wrong.
I don’t think there is any cheat codes. I think y’all just need to get better to get to 2k I can tell you these videos did not take me to 2k no hate to the creator i’m sure it worked for him but a piece of advice for those who are trying to reach 2000 don’t look for quick fixes
I mean it is but then I can trade, the knight becomes passive on b7 and I can start jumping my own knight into squares like e6 to harass the pawns and rooks. Trades just favour white
Nice game. It is difficult to find such complex tactics in rapid time controls. A human will automatically first analyze the opponents threats and think defensively before calculating if there is a more powerful counterattack that actually works, and that takes time. Computers instantly find the best move. That's one method of detecting cheaters. I'm sure you would have found the missed wins in a classical time control.
Thank you mate, hope you enjoyed! Yeah humans often will get stuck in like a defensive mindset and not look for counterattacking moves but rather simply continue to defend
Haha yeah it just doesn't work without a knight on f3. One of the great things about the Vienna is that lots of these strange openings can't really be played against Nc3 as opposed to Nf3
@ChessCenturionDefinitely 💯 he played this horribly from the start. It will be interesting to see how your opponent's play improves as you get into the 1600s 1700s ect
@ChessCenturion too much to comment😭 but how do y'all find these moves so easily and calculate like even when things go wrong you still bounce back and I notice sometimes it might be because your position is so good almost everything is a good move
Honestly I am just very familiar with these positions and it helps because I've analysed these games so many times that I know the majority of potential ideas and strategies that I can employ so I can kinda see if any of them fit a given position if that makes sense?

Thanks man, it's definitely a skill I'm working on as I keep getting better!
Good investment on the new mic to take you to that next yt level! Enjoying the vids. Thank you
Thank you mate, I'm absolutely loving it!
I don't have any nails left.....A real nail biter. 👏👏👏👏👏👍
Hell yeah, my opponent did very well to keep things difficult
I watch every day Pal. GG.
Thank you man, I really appreciate it! I hope you don't find it repetitive :)
@ not at all. I’m using the Vienna now with White so all good!
Awesome, I hope you enjoy the rest of the Vienna playlist :)
Snowed in in Louisiana! Nice to see a fresh vid!
Hope all is well mate :) Lot of love for the US
New mic suits you. I had no school today so now i can watch your old videos
Thank you mate, loads more videos to come! Hope you enjoy the old ones too :)

Bro this is sooo true. I peaked to 2,000 elo with this in just 2 years from my first ever chess game.
Dude that's ridiculous progress
Very interesting game. That 1500 gave their all
Yeah he did very well to bring some life back to the game!

Yeah things were far from simple and fair play to my opponent for keeping it complicated!

Of course there's loads of things you have to do to hit 2k or even just increase rating in general but this opening really did help me a lot
26:30 why isn’t Bb7 possible?
I mean it is but then I can trade, the knight becomes passive on b7 and I can start jumping my own knight into squares like e6 to harass the pawns and rooks. Trades just favour white

@ChessCenturion Your content is very instructive plus you explain your thought process well.
Cheers man :)
I’m thinking of switching from the Bird to the Vienna
Well luckily for you I've got a whole Vienna playlist to learn from!
Damn I literally had someone play f5 into my vienna game yesterday and I thought I should investigate that line! Thanks for reading my mind 🤝🏻
Haha that's such a weird coincidence because it is a horrible move, hopefully this video helped a lot then?
@ChessCenturion Your videos literally always help mate!
Awesome man thanks
Latvian gambit is hella fun if yr opponent has no idea what to do against it, this guy played the blunder variation
Haha yeah it just doesn't work without a knight on f3. One of the great things about the Vienna is that lots of these strange openings can't really be played against Nc3 as opposed to Nf3

Yeah definitely!
22:10 black should play bxd3
Sorry I'm confused mate, do you mean bxc3?
@ChessCenturionc3* yes whoops. With fresh morning eyes it looks not so good xd
No worries bro happens to the best of us XD
GG!
Gad you enjoyed!
Hey man, im really tryna climb up higher in my eloz currently 705, allot of this stuff really helps me❤ thank you.
Awesome man, love to hear it! Do you have any specific questions about how to improve certain aspects of your chess?
@ChessCenturion too much to comment😭 but how do y'all find these moves so easily and calculate like even when things go wrong you still bounce back and I notice sometimes it might be because your position is so good almost everything is a good move

@ChessCenturion yh I understand
"The Most Educational Chess Speedrun On RUclips" i have some doubts about that claim, lol
Well depends on your criteria
