Helder has a nice variation he put in his notes where he outjogs the card on the display, and on the way down basically do the earnest enrick earick convincing control described in by forces unseen. It's a real fooler.
Hey Sean, could you please make a similar tutorial on Erdnase Change? I don't understand why sometimes I get the card to come from under the top card and sometimes it just doesn't come out at all. Or multiple cards come out.
Try this... Let the deck rest in the palm of your left hand, held in place by the ring finger, pinky and base of the thumb. The thumb itself and the middle finger should be gripping the long edges of the deck, at the end facing away from you, and the first finger should be on the short end of the deck that faces away from you. With this grip, the first finger dictates how far the card can slide and how many cards move forward, while the grip strength of the thumb and middle finger should determine how many cards are able to slide backwards. As for not being able to move the card at all sometimes, it's likely your skin is just too dry. Use lotion regularly, and maybe try some Sort Kwik while performing. I hope it helps. 🤷♂️ Cheers.
@@JesterNamedSeven Ok thank you, so the problem is just getting used to how much grip I use. The problem I tried to describe is when I slide a card back with the base of my palm, multiple cards often come out.
@@PunCala what I do is I slide the card with the edge of my palm slightly downward. It makes the card pop up and rest on your palm. Also, you can feel if you have two or more cards with it. You can just push them back with the card on your palm as you finish and reveal. I hope you can imagine what I just said 😂
Love this move , hate this move... Gecko fingers I do not have. I can't pull the chosen card back I can't hold the substitute card with my thumb. My hands are so dry I almost its hard to push a card off the top of the deck. my hands are slipperier than the card in a brand new deck. Lotion ruins the cards and then they are so sticky nothing is possible. Looks great though.
Thank you Sean for another Gem 💎 and the detailed teaching you are the best there is
Great explanation! You Rock!
Also my favorite control. It’s so good. Well taught! 🔥♥️🔥
Great video, thanks! 1. What are your top 5 all times favorite magic books? 2. What books of magic do you have in your magic collection?
Grand MERCI français pour ton talent ❤🎉

Maybe it has something to do with your mechanics grip.
@@marklawrencesanandres1853 Probably, I'd just like to know what exactly. Also if my hands are just washed, it's hard to do the change.

Awesome, Sean #letsgetintoit 🤟🃏
This was very helpful. 👍
👍👍
Also: you mentioned that you use this move to move the card anywhere. How do you use it to move the card to, say, top of the deck?
just do an overhand shuffle pass...
❤❤
Sick
What do I do with the card when it's on the bottom? :D
Shuffle it to the top, in the name of "making sure everything is mixed" and then do the ol' magic snap(tm)
Can we use this technic(or change it a little bit) to control the card to the first position ?
Absolutely! Will be in a video soon. Wanted to teach this one in depth first.
@@SeanDevine Slipstream?
can use a break then a swivel cut followed by a double undercut i guess
dont know about controlling it to the first position in the beginning though

I have exactly the same problem.. while it's a gift in every other situation in life, for card magic it really isn't.
Do another Coffee Live stream!! Please 😅
