- Ride along with me as I go to purchase a 2002 Ford Excursion 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel and 2006 Hummer H2 SUT at an auction. The trip turns out different than expected but hopefully you can learn something from our misfortune. If you are looking for a Ford Excursion, check out www.successmotors.net or follow us on instagram success_motors.
That grossness/mold on the headliner is the result of roof rack removal. When you remove the roof rack screws in the Excursion, rainwater seeps through the screw-hole and directly into the headliner. It will turn dark like that.
You're literally going to my dream auction haha
That was interesting. Thanks for taking the time and effort. As soon as I saw those rusty bolts through the roof I knew the roof would be a wreck!
Thanks for sharing how you do it
I’ve never seen 2nd row seats tore up like that in an Excursion! What the hell were they hauling? Wolverines!?!? 😳😳
🤣 Good point, I have not either!
Great video, Jake.. Thats exactly what I did - watched your video while doing paperwork downstairs..! Very interesting.. Make some more.. 👍
Thank you for the feedback!
Great video; nice to see behind the scenes. Did you notice if the center console fit well? It appears to be an F150 console. I’m wanting to do a swap like this.
Also, I drive past this place weekly, could have saved you a trip.
I did not pay much attention to the console, however, it did seem out of place to me. I did not prefer it but it is very functional.
@ryanrichard9342 it’s basically an F-250 if I’m not mistaken
Apart from the time you spent to drive here and see all this...the question is if users, who "own" cars in such condition and let them look like this (sorry, I cannot call them Owners) do respect themselves? Pardon me, but the biggest issue is not the roof, but the exemplary poor ownership. Thank you Jake!
Oohhfff
Cool vid tho
Now that is a POS. That's not even a good candidate for a Super Duty front and interior swap. Urgh, what a pile. I would never give 15k for that heap.
Hard pass! It was not loved by the last owner that’s for sure.
