Better choice than a Suburban?

Had mine bought for 10k then spent 20k on it. In hindsight, I should have bought one in good condition to begin with, even though now I have a 30k Excursion with new everything... I'm probably going to spend another 30k in the next 1-2 years and make it look, feel and drive as if it just rolled off the production line. 70k... That's less than the cheapest full size SUV you can buy today.

Ford excursion is probably the best SUV bourbon you could ever buy. I had one had a gas engine in it 240,000 miles on a pulled the trailer for seven years. You cannot beat that truck and hold three kids never once left us stranded.❤

Back in 2003 , ford has made two different powerstroke turbo diesel v8 morors or engines. That year was not only the last year for the 7.3 diesel motors but tge first year for the 6.0 motors

I bought my first Excursion in 2005. It was a 2002 Limited V10 with 66k miles. It has 125k miles now (yes I still have it). I love them. During the pandemic, I found a 2004 Limited V10 with 18k miles. It has 24k miles now. It looks like it is just toff the showroom floor. The previous owner said he used it to just tow his boat to the lake. I had it inspected by a mechanic before the purchase and he wanted to purchase it if I did not. The only complaint I have about it is the radio controls in the steering wheel do not work. This is because he installed an Android Auto system in the truck.

Now that is a POS. That's not even a good candidate for a Super Duty front and interior swap. Urgh, what a pile. I would never give 15k for that heap.

That truck is screaming out for a 2016 conversion inside and out. Nice truck, can't wait to get one myself.

I can agree with everything you're saying . I have a 2000 v10, and i love it more cause we were the same age . But when you said parking in the parking lot and giving it that look back i reallt felt that one. I love this truck tho beautiful not too modern.

Absolutely one of my favorite Excursions by far! I only wished it was a 00-03.5 with the 7.3 diesel or at least the 6.8 Triton V10 gasser. But 94k miles on a 6.0, she's still got 200k+ miles left on her! Absolutely badass rig, shoutout to whoever took care of this thing and did all the stuff!
