Superman is one of the smooooothest rides I’ve ever been on
I live in San Antonio Texas this park is very amazing especially Halloween season
Santos I absolutely love going there during Halloween season . But Christmas season is my favorite . Especially when going on the Sky Screamer & looking around at all the lights around the park .
Yeah Its amazing
Yup I got the season pass for 2019
The funny thing is that a dressed up staff scared the sh*t outta me and I actually punched him.
Santos right!!
The goliath is not awkwardly placed it's perfect and quite a beautiful rollercoaster. It really let's you know what you're getting into when you walk into the park
I agree, it’s my home park and it always looked so cool walking by the entrance and heading the people screaming
This was voted the #5 theme park in the usa
Wow.. didn't know that..
I went there this past spring but unfortunately I only go to ride two or three rides because it decided to start raining 🌧
*Amusement park not a "theme" park
Ryan_Catz02 amusement park and theme park are the same thing lol
@@sebakker5955 There is a difference. One is a park that is themed (like Disney) and one is purely built as a park itself (amusement), without theme.
That construction is for a carousel. It closed at the end of the season last year to make way for Wonder Woman. Where this gift shop is now is where the carousel originally was.
Thanks. Knew someone would know what was going on
it's almost ready to open too.. probably ~1-2 more week? (They have the base and the top sidings up).. . The refurbished horses have been in the queue from the old Scooby Doo for most of this season (and look fantastic).
Then we just have to wait for the new Dark Ride to open!
This park definitely has a Knotts Berry Farm feel and thats why I love watching and hearing about this park because it brings a smile to me because as a Californian, I love Knotts so much!
A lot of “review” vids are awful but this one was well done and I actually enjoyed it. Nicely done, good job!
N
Six Flags Fiesta Texas is a great place to visit with family... my favorite ride still the Superman very enjoyable. Great video thanks for taking the time to share,
I always hear people say how SFOG is one of the most beautiful Six Flags parks, but this one definitely looks to be the best IMO. So many unique areas, buildings, themeing, and landscaping.
Daniel Worley I feel like I hear that all the time and I don’t get it. SFOG is my home park and it’s pretty messy looking. It’s pretty in places, but this park looks much nicer overall.
I went to your homepark and what I liked the most was the terrain. The trees and it's kind of hilly but the operations were TERRIBLE. SFFT is nice because it's newer and the Quarry Wall adds to it but as a park of RIDES, its pretty lame. It IS very clean though. EXTREMELY clean and on hot days, since the water park is part of your ticket, the rides are more easy to get on.
the rides are lame?
hmmm. . . maybe not all to your liking, but besides the setting, it really is the most well rounded Six Flags park I've ever been to:
Floorless Coaster (Superman)
Suspended Coaster (Goliath)
Hybrid Coaster (Iron Rattler)
Spinning Coaster (Pandemonium)
Launched Coaster (Poltergeist)
S&S Freespin (1st of it's kind): Batman
RMC Raptor mono-track (1st of it's kind) Wonder Woman
Terrain/Mine Train (unique version too) Roadrunner
a Boomerang.
Watercoaster (in the watermpark section.. with a Single Rider Line!)
and some really unique flats in Hustler, and Bug's Rapids
it will have a dark ride again soon, when they finish the update to what used to be Scooby Doo (it's going to be a pirate theme).
and as you note, the waterpark is included. . . a perk, and on hot days, makes lines shorter for everything else.
it really does have a great, well rounded line up of coasters & rides.
They need one ASS KICKING coaster then they will be fine but they could have done soooo much MORE with the rattler but they removed the WHOLE helix on top of the quarry and the one after the tunnel. As far as Superman, well it was the SHYT back in the day but some much more has been done coaster wise since the installment of Superman which is now mediocre. Goliath is nothing but Batman the Ride and the Great White at SeaWorld. Everything else is just a piece of a coaster. Batman isnt even a coaster, Roadrunner is lame, Pandemonium is at the other park up the street and just a wild mouse and WonderWoman could have been 2 seats across and 1000 more feet of track. SixFlags just does ENOUGH to put it slightly over a traveling carnival.
SFMM is the best SF out of all
SFFT is my home park, Its a really great park. And even though I have visited here a ton of times I still managed to learn some new things during your visit!
You ask if Goliath was repainted recently, it was painted 10 years ago when it was moved from New Orleans to San Antonio
THE WINE POP N JACK AND COKE SLUSHY IS EVERY ALCOHOLIC AND STRESSED OUT AND OVER IT PARENTS DREAM !
so many memories at fiesta texas, I lost my palm pre on the superman and i fainted on the boomering good times!
this was a cool vid man bahaha. this is my home park & you made it seem so much more interesting than i thought it was. i never realized how much the quarry wall plays a part in the park/rides.
megan corpuz same here. I've been going here since the 90's and never really thought of it using the quarry in the landscape. I guess I took it for granted.
Thank you for the tour, unfortunately I can't go on Roller Coaster's as I have a heart condition. God Bless You.
That’s unfortunate
Goliath used to be Batman the ride at Six Flags New Orleans until Six Flags New Orleans got hit by Hurricane Katrina and got moved
That's right, leave the water park to the water park professional, haha. Really good review as always. Shame you missed Road Runner. It's one of the best mine train rides.
Watching this in quarantine makes me sad I want to go again lol
I love Fiesta Texas. I grew up about 10 miles from it. I can remember before those apartment buildings were around the park, we used to park on a hill behind the park and watch the fireworks on the Fourth of July, lol. We always felt like it was always too crowded on the Fourth to actually go in.
I have a lot of memories of hanging out with my friends in the Spasburg food court. I don’t know is they still do, but they used to sell really good bratwurst and schnitzel there, and there’s a stage where they’d sometimes do live polka music.
The park originally was set up as almost a knock-off of the original Six Flags, but instead of the six flags of Texas, it was set up with the different major cultures that first settled in San Antonio and the surrounding area (which is primarily Mexican and German).
I definitely recommend going around Halloween. The weather is better and Fiesta Texas’ Halloween celebrations are great!
This is my fav one!Ive only been to this park since it’s only a 3 hour drive but I love it!
Fun fact, "Goliath" was originally "Batman The Ride" in Six Flags New Orleans until the park was devastated by Hurricane Katrina and relocated to Fiesta Texas.
Just made my first visit to SFFT with the family over the Thanksgiving (2021) week. LOVED IT!! Best Six Flags park I've been to. My son and I rode Iron Rattler four times (including twice in the front and once in the back) in just over an hour. Granted it was the first hour the park was open. We actually were in the front seat on the first ride of Rattler that day (Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving).
I work there as security....the ride is being worked on
Peter Haring what is it ?
Darth Murika lol your comment made me cry
Thank you so much, me and my friends are going here for a birthday party! And we have been planning but we don’t know what to ride, so I watched this and made a list of rides! Thank you💕
(Earned a new sub!)
So hyped for the Giant Discovery coming, they’re easily my favorite kind of flat ride. Getting to Crazanity was amazing and it’ll be nice to not have to drive like 5 hours to get to a Giant Discovery
Omg that Wonder Woman coaster is FAST. Looks fabulous
I live here in San Antonio, and I've been going to this park since before Six Flags even owned it....so sometimes its easy to overlook all the cool things this park actually has. When you've ridden all these rides 1,000x each, I get bored easily, but I can totally see where a first time visitor would be in heaven.
Very complete review! I will definetly have to go this year 2020! thanks and happy new year to all!
Love fiesta Texas have gone twice in 3 years. Beautiful park. I'm not fan of six flags but I love this place
Great review....thanks for posting.
Awesome review of the park. Enjoyed the vid.
San Antonio the best
I've been there as a kid. I remember the Wagon Wheel, That ship ride at the boardwalk, Scooby Doo: Ghostblasters, and the halloween haunted house event they did a long time ago. (I've also been on the Rattler when it was still made of wood. It jerked a lot more back then. It was impossible to escape without bruises.) I can also honestly say that I've been on the Superman: Krypton Coaster when I was too small to ride it. There was also a gokart ride you didn't have to pay for, but that was also removed. The cars had radios too. Big sad.
I've been to this place every year since 2014 and ITS amazing the Wonder Woman is also really fun!
I luv these rides
Come back to the park during Christmas......the show in the big theater is amazing
The big theater up front is actually large enough to house full Broadway productions. It actually has an orchestra pit. I took a backstage tour there once.
Poltergeist almost always runs 1 train operations.. but I have been there one time this season (thus far), where they had both trains running.
on Father's Day, it was 1 train ops tho.
It also does not tend to open until after 12. So don't run there right away, but after about Noon, if you see it cycling? head over before the line gets nuts.
The Twister is a savage ride. Tightest darn restraints, and they get tighter before they let you out. Many call it the Baby Maker and Nut Crusher.
I thought that he was calling the Goliath the Iron rattler in the beginning and I was like “BISH” 😂
Glad you enjoyed my home park. Going next weekend.
I miss scooby doo it was my favorite ride as a kid
My cousin used to be scared of it till
The last time it was open he was so excited to go again this summer but now it pirates of the Caribbean
Ahh it was super fun going here often last year. Decided not to get the season pass again as i am six flags pooped out lol
I just visited today and had an awesome experience while I was there I noticed the underconstruction fun ride and took a peek... it seemed to be a carousel but not entirely sure.
Edited: Sorry I was just scrolling through the comments and noticed someone else said the something . I didn't want to repeat really sorry bout that
Great review. Thanks
I love the road runner and the boomerang
The boomerang was my first rollercoaster:(( I love it
the ride under construction is the carousel! it used to be where the wonder women shop is but they moved :P
Thanks so much for this video I just went on all the rides and knew about them thanks😊😊😊👌🏻good video
Meg Munoz did you go Saturday or Sunday and are they typically very crowded ?
When all rides are up and running this park is hard to beat. Easy to get around and a great setting with quarry walls, I liked how they were incorporated into some of the rides. They have since installed this pendulum ride called the joker that is unreal. I suggest going on a spring or fall date.
Would you say this park is better than six flags over texas? I can only visit one I don't know which is better. I'm from Ohio so I've never been to either of them.
The thing they were building is a carousel and ITS A SHAME YOU DIDNT GET TO SEE VINAL COUNTDOWN EASILY MY FAVORITE SHOW THERE EVER!!! Fiesta Texas is my home park and I hope you had a great time I always do :)
I’m going to six flags in a week and I’m watching as much as videos as I can before I go on any ride so wish me luck
It was my first time at fiesta Texas this year. It was a great park, the only thing missing is a hyper or giga.
Great review!
Great review Mate!
I love it here in San Antonio and I love their park!
_ hey is the roadrunner open? im going Saturday
I’d love to have these rides . I can’t take hard on my neck.
But I’ll visit to see others enjoying,!!!
Wonder Woman Golden Lasso looked kinda slow in the POV but seeing it wiping around like that all I can think is HOLY CRAP!
omg. im going saturday, after a band concert and now im freaking out
Lianna Banana Heyy Im going this Saturday April 27th too!!😊
@@Stephanie-up1kx : COOL! so scared bro! first time and i hateeee roller coasters, but im still gonna ride them for some reason (with my friends) :)
Lianna Banana Really?! Samee my friends and I have been talking about ever single ride we want to get on! And tmr we're getting on EVERY SINGLE RIDE!! We're also going for a band trip! Its about 4 hours away for us so we have to get up at 3am! XD
@@Stephanie-up1kx : OMGGGG 3 hours away! im 2 hours away and were leaving at 6 in big fancy charter bus ;)! But were doing some middle school comp thing at like 9 and then get to six flags at 10 and staying until the park closes
Lianna Banana OoOoo YAS!! We're also riding in charter buses but we aren't performing just an End Of The Year trip😁
That is crazy ride and long line
the airtime on wonder woman is crazy! you have to ride it
Great tour, keep doing more. Do you have that six flags from LA?
Went here once around easter of 2017 and most of the ride were not working. I got to ride Goliath and Gully Washer and they were fun. 10/10 Would like to visit again
i just went to san antonio and i went there it was so fun
Hey Cedar Fair! Let’s get them a new entrance gate!
awesome video!!!
Fun fact: wonderwoman was the first rollercoaster i rode with a loop on it... Personally the drop was rough... But poltergeist was my fave that day. In that day i decided to be brave and rode atleast half of the biggest rollercoasters ^·^ ill do the rest soon because i live near san Antonio so wish me luck.
Wonder Woman iron rattler there my both favorite rides in six flags fiesta Texas
I love six flags
I wish you added the hight requirements we just got season passes and we're so excited
This is considered "my home park," yet I've never seen it this cleaned up. It's usually quite dirty and need of refurbishment. You've presented this park like it was 2012 again! Nice review though :)
This is the six flags I went to my favorite was the iron rattler
7:23 I had a friend who asked for a life jacket on that ride.
Nice Kane Fact!!!
There is a kiddy area. It’s called Kidzopolis and it’s right in between superman and the log ride.
Great vid
I went there for a few hours.
I go hear every summer I live in houston
To some of your questions/comments: Yes, Poltergeist usually runs two trains, and the line is so slow when they don't.
RoadRunner has WAY better theming when it opened, but it was (I believe) the first coaster added when Six Flags bought the park (Rattler was the only coaster there before), so it's really, really old, and they've removed some of the broken elements. The rock you showed used to have Wile E. Coyote pushing a boulder onto the train, but the hydraulics broke, and rather than fix it, they just removed it. It's a decent mine train coaster, but don't be too disappointed you missed it.
The theater in the front is pretty cool. I saw an almost Cirque du Soliel style acrobatic show there a while back.
I've been going there since it opened in 1992, and it was kind of a joke back then, but over the years, they've built it out, and put in so many good rides, it became lowkey one of the best parks I've been to.
I'm going there next week
They are making a carousel i went on it yesterday it was great :)
I consider Fiesta Texas to be my home park and I completely agree about the outrageous food and drink lines. It’s a problem. Poltergeist normally does run two trains on peak days. When I last went, Fireball didn’t even have its train on it. The really big theater at the front of the park is really big inside, though it is a little dated. It could benefit from a remodel. Someone else commented about how the rides are fairly short and I kind of have to agree. Superman is the only ride that is what most people would consider a long ride. Iron Rattler, Wonder Woman, Poltergeist and Batman which are some of their poster attractions, are all way too short. And Goliath, which is a mirror clone of the other Batman inverts, is rougher than the Batmans in my experience. I rode the Batman at Over Texas recently and it was much less “head-banger-y” than Goliath.
I'd always go to Fiesta Texas for Iron Rattler, Superman, Poltergeist, Road Runner, and Wonder Woman. It's always fun to do Scream, Sky Screamer, the flume, and the Dark Ride, but really those are the draws for it but their waterpark is also cool to check out.
We’re going there for a field trip on Friday and this entire video gave me anxiety
I am going to San tonio and to go to six flags and I am very excited
The Batman one was the craziest one
Fun fact, the Goliath was trucked in from Houston, cleaned up and repainted, where it served as Batman: the Escape at AstroWorld. It is a mirror of a ride in Arlington's Six Flags over Texas. Where one goes right, the other goes left.
Fun opinion, it's a mediocre roller coaster and makes a great filter, as the masses see it first leaving the Superman with short lines if you get there early.
Goliath came from Six Flags New Orleans
Bahahaha I never new there was "expensive apartments and shopping malls" up there😂
Fun fact for coaster nerds: Alan Schilke designed 3 rides at this park. Iron Rattler, Batman free spin and Road Runner mine train.
i actually went here a couple weeks ago, where it says "Fun under construction" they're building a carousel.....btw, Superman is the best ride, wonder Woman, is intense, Batman, had me hurting afterwards lol, Iron Rattle still terrifies me yet i still get on, i still have no clue why they only have 1 car for poltergeist, goliath is always fun, and yes, it's been repainted, and now i know why roadrunner is closed...i always said they should have a sign saying that Wile coyote tried "fixing it" lol, and i remember seeing there being a fun gag at the top of new texas giant, but there's nothing on iron rattler, which is a shame, like bugs should be on top with a "yikes" sign.
Lol I was actually the supervisor at that Johnny Rockets during this video
on hurricain force 5 i dropped my glasses ...i bet there still there lol>>>
I went to it and it is the Carlisle and it is really cool
I MISS ASTROWORLD- I NEED TO GO HERE😣
My grandma says that sometimes they play the oldies but goodies and I went last year. 2018 and I loved it when I heard them I went on the fireball 5 times bcuz my siblings dared me it's too scary I'm going this Sunday or Saturday and I plan on going on the batman
Iive in san Antonio texas and this is my opinion but its legit the best park ever
Azmyth olivan hi how are You
Hello I’m a big fan of your RUclips channel and I love all your videos. I live near fiesta Texas and go there like every other day and would love to meet up with you sometime that be us to Texas
Won’t be back to Texas anytime this year, but thanks for watching
IM IN TX RN
If I lived in the complex Id be there all the time
Alex Amanda It would get old
I think roadrunner has been closed all year i went for opening day closed one month later closed another month later closed and now you go closed
Theme Park Notice they're waiting for a very rare part I've heard.
I work there as security....the ride is being worked on
yep. . waiting for a custom part. . apparently the part they got was not the correct size? and it's something that takes ~2months to manufacture.
they told me when I was there on Father's Day that they were hoping to have it back open by end of July. . guess we shall see
It’s july 21st and they are working on the trains and testing them. The lady said that the it should be open in august
Nevaeh Raelyn it was open I went on got stuck for 3 hours in 108 degree heat it was hell
My school's band is going there tomorrow
