Riverside has become one of our favorite resorts. Well themed, and a step up from the value resort aesthetics. Makes a huge difference if you can get a room closer front/quick service restaurant. And you can't beat a walk down to French Quarter for beignets.
Gotta love those Disney Decade Eisner restaurants when everything had a full backstory. Beignet all day!!

Great video..... what a beautiful resort..... great louisiana feel..... reminds me of the great plantations that you can visit down here like Oak Alley or destrehan... plantations....restaurant and food looked great.... looked like home cooking from my area.....like these date nights , too... thanks for sharing.... take care..... have a great day....thanks.....👍👍👍👍

Loved this vlog. When my family and I lived in Chicago, Riverside was our go to resort for 5 trips!!!
Many many memories there with our kids.
Now that we are locals, we go and visit, eat at boatwrights, and take the sassagula boats to DS.

My sister and I just spent time there. Great resort and wonderful meal!
P.S. yes you can fish there in the fishing hole and they rent out the poles and stuff! Very cool😎

You did not mention that the (lawn) at the Oak Manor was artificial grass. More that likely Disney knew that couldn’t grow grass under all those oak trees du to to the shade.
