there are lots of car rental kiosks at the airport! but honestly we felt a little bit scammed bc they told us that we need to pump full tank upon returning the car, but if you calculate via gmaps the nearest gas station is quite far away from the return point and you wont be able to return full tank. they charged us extra s$40 "for the difference" which is way more that what you'd spend at the gas station

You should stay overnight in the national park, the weather that you showed was in the national park which is about 4 C cooler due to higher attitude.
