Soothing. I can imagine this in a film.
There is definitely a quality to his music that would lend itself well to soundtracks.
Movie idea: Someone trying to find themselves in the woods, they have had a difficult life/ time out there but they keep holding on to memories of good times with the person they use to be with & that's how the person carries on.

This song is so incredibly emotional. To me it reads as a constant struggle against feeling helplessly troublesome, and finding that one person that makes you want to grind yourself to dust to make things right. Sometimes people are worth fighting for, even if it's yourself that's the enemy.
It makes me think of how you can't change other people, and other people can't truly change you... Something or someone has to come across as important enough for us to painfully metamorphosize on our own.
I am honestly blown away by this man. His music transcends what we think of the medium. He takes you on a journey with him. His voice is both tranquil and haunting at the same time. Beautiful and calming. I have had this on repeat for the last day since release and then this dropped and I find myself listening to this on repeat. Thank you Woodkid and Colors Studio. For making the final months of this dreadful year such a special time.

WOODKID is legend.
"I'm turning horizons into battlegrounds..." it hit me all of a sudden what this means, at least to me personally. Instead of looking forward to the future with a positive light the singer looks towards to future with anxiety and fear. And they're scared to go forward without someone who can help them on their way.
The future is an unknown beast that puts much fear into me because I always expect the worst and in the end, even though I fight for my future I always end up losing because I don't see myself winning. I can only see my own flaws and that's the only thing I expect. I've always said that I need someone to show me the way. I know what I want but if I could only have someone to always point, "ok you want that? go this path." But if I don't do anything about my current situations I can never find my "guide," hell I might never get a "guide" ever.
So I always turn out stagnant, doing nothing because that's more comfortable. But I don't want to be a waste of space. But instead of looking after opportunities I just turn every horizon into a battleground.
Im bawling my eyes out because this songs makes me think about how losing my mother has made me lost and distant, insecure and self sabotaging.

Been know this song before witcher used it(whoever edited that trailer is a genius). But this song is a perfect representation of geralt. A man who has been fighting adversary and has been through so much pain since childhood and now after so long having someone who calls him father. So deep and powerful. Sad that Netflix butchered the show and that Henry cavil was the only saving grace for the show because he was the perfect person to potray Geralt.
That was the best colors show I've ever listened to.
