Too old? You're never too old to ride, but you'll feel old if you quit. I have been mountain biking for over 30 yrs and road cycling for over 45. I feel better, sleep better, and just am happier when I ride. Mtn biking helps with keeping my reflexes quick. I am 56 now and have no plans to quit riding or getting an e-bike.

I am 49 and I love being on my Trek Roscoe. Im too heavy for a full suspension at the moment but hopefully I can get one in the future. Ive been to horshoe a few times. Nice trail. I live in Irving so I can get to northshore and horshoe pretty quickly.

I'm 52 & just got into Mountain biking. Rode BMX as a teen. Looking forward to riding this trail soon. So far I've been to Gateway & Fossil Creek.

Perfect trail to build up your skills. Trail crosses asphalt road multiple times, giving opp to rmix trail and road while your skills progress .

This trail is 5 minutes from my house and I ride it all the time! Nice video!

Thanks. Only a retired guy would spend as much time as I do editing bike videos :)

Thanks! I got back into biking at 44, though I prefer wider paths for biking, so this is going on my to-hike list. 🖖

Nice video. I ride this trail every couple weeks.
As most ride videos are of an entire trail, I like the editing down to the interesting trail features. I was just thinking the other day that trail videos might be interesting where you ride up to a feature, then freeze-frame the video and diagram the line options (kinda like you do for bypass/climb), then rewind the video to show the approach and where you need to be to access the best line, then roll the video forward again through the obstacle. Another thought was to insert map locations to show where on the trail each technical feature is as the video gets there.
How do you like the new Ibis Ripley? I hope to upgrade to a Ripley from a hard tail this fall.

Appreciate the comment. Your ideas would be cool on a trail with lots of features like Northshore west, which I'm doing next. As for the Ripley v4 - love, love it. Perfect for trails in this area but I have taken all over - from Utah to Nepal.
