AnimeUproar You forgot to add the fact that a couple of commandments were stolen if I remember correctly 4 were strolen and two very powerful demons were brought back also half of these aren't even alive or are done with revenge or inactive also I think meliodas now counts as a commandment he doesn't have emotions anymore and basically reverted back to his old self only keeping the promise with him to reverse the curse so he is basically a demon now plus ban is probably going to lose his immortality soon

It depends. For example, if you started a joke with something like "a sandwich walked into a bar" that wouldnt be true as a sandwich cant walk. Would that count as a lie or enough to turn to stone?

Mattage In the case of Galand, if the person is not aware that they are lying due to lack of knowledge of situation, they won’t be turned to stone. This is shown with Diane when Gowther erases her memories, and Galand attacks. She claims not to know him, and doesn’t turn to stone due to her memories being wiped out by Gowther after their previous battle.

Estarossa is my favorite commandment because of his cruel, sadistic, and merciless personality but he also shows some what of a mutual respect and love towards Meliodos

I think Gloxinia's Repose commandment makes it so that any who fall asleep in his presence will remain trapped in a dream like state. Drole's Patience commandment makes any who complain in his presence suffer immeasurable pain until death. Mospite's Silence commandment makes anyone who reveals their secrets in his presence has their magic power sealed. And Derrire's Purity commandment makes anyone who touches her with impure desires to be weighed down by guilt.
Gloxinia Repose-Anyone who fights without rest will get their magic sealed away.
Galand truth-Anyone who lies or goes back on their word will be turned to stone
Gowther selflessness-Anyone who holds desire from another person will lose their memories, emotions, and sense of self

Awesome video. Never read the manga (not my thing), but one of my favorite anime’s of all time. I knew most of this, but there was more than one piece of trivia I didn’t know that was quite nice to fit into the puzzle of my understanding of the series.

as commandments can affect other commandments and even themselves so commandments that act in pair must be resistive to them..like gloxinia and drole..gloxinia is practically immune to drole's commandment(if it curses if anyone in his presence becomes impatient) since gloxinia remains bored and quiet.

Commandments who we don't know as much about and their possible repercussions. Aplogies if I got the spelling wrong as I don't have the Manga in front of me. Also, this is just my opinion of the Commandments and what some of the non-developed ones may be as you asked AniUproar.
Diereiere is Purity/ Having inpure thoughts renders your ability to reproduce or have any s*x drive removed. Monspiet is Reticence/ Speak in Vain or Improper and lose your ability to speak.
Gloximia = Repose/ Appear or act lazy or diligent and lose your ability to sleep. Period.
Droll = Paitence/ Lose your paitence/temper/cool-headed thoughts and turn Beserk, attacking friend and Foe alike. (*side note, since Droll and Gloximia were at 2nd tournament, this should have drastically the fight results and actions of the participants*)
Further, even though this is an older thread, regarding irony or what's good/bad? Not all demons are bad. Not all goddesses are good. There is good and bad amidst all races. You need to decide for yourself what is right and wrong. As well as what true friends will do for each other, everyone changes throughout life. This isn't directed at anyone in particular. Just a general statement and my opinion. The manga (can't wait for season 3 in October 2019) shows these things very well, however.
I guess the main attraction of this anime/manga is the unexpected things that turn up without getting boring

So does Dreyfus' personality come out at certain times? He really seems upset when his son dies. He also seemed upset at hendrickson for wanting to start a holy war. Then he was turned to ash and out of no where he returns as a demon. Idk im just having a hard time following dreyfus' arc. It doesnt seem right but i could be missing something

Long story short, Fraudrin raised griamore in place of Dreyfus. He was acting the entire time but he learns at the end when he was purged out of Dreyfus, that he was being selfish the entire time. Despite being just a “commandment” substitute. He is known as Fraudrin the Selflessness. They did save Dreyfus at the end, because his soul was still intact. He was pretty much just a vessel for Fraudrin up to this point anyways. Young griamore is what saved everyone. The memories of raising griamore made Fraudrin remember why he was doing this to begin with.
