I can't thank you enough for posting these 2 pieces, M328 and M330. It was always a mystery as to what they were called. You did the community a favour!
M328 is just one of those songs that can catch the essence of life passing, displayed in that happy moment that Doremi and Mirai are making glass together. The happiness of Doremi finally complete her glass piece and the melancholic announce of Mirai's departure is something so harmonious as it should be. A peaceful happy moment hat quickly turns into a sad nostalgic moment, almost as that Doremi and Mirai never met each other at all. For Doremi was a living the present moment as much as she could, while Mirai as a millennia witch, things like time can't affect her at all. But one thing is for sure, both of them enjoyed the moment with passion. It's interesting that Mirai could've presented a possible future of Doremi as a witch (since the word 'mirai' in Japanese means 'future'), at the same time Doremi could bring her to the past, to enjoy the energy of the final moments of Doremi's childhood. The huge color contrast between Doremi and Mirai just shows how different the warmth feeling of childhood and the coldness, yet resilient feeling of adulthood could be drawn through characters. As Mirai try to avoid stay in one single place due to her immortal witch state, Doremi find herself alone as she meets Mirai. Curiously, Doremi discover her house similar just like she found Maho-Do shop, by walking down a street she never walked before. Finally, I think the M328 is so special because they use both a piano and a violin, which are symbols that represent Doremi and Hadzuki relationship. We can clearly see that despite Doremi and Mirai only interact to each other for just one episode, their connection was so genuine, just like the friendship between Doremi herself and Hadzuki. This song just matches perfectly with the optimistic happy Doremi's enrergy with the lonely and complex story of Mirai, a true bridge between the familiarity of the childhood growth and the coldness journey to the unknown of the adulthood.
ooooh I hadn't ever made a connection between Doremi finding the MAHO-dou, and finding Mirai's shop, but that's a good catch now you mention it :o Wasn't it mentioned a few times that people are supernaturally drawn to the MAHO-dou? I wonder if Mirai's dwellings have the same sort of magnetism :O Lovely post btw!
@@MewMewSeelie First of all, thank you for your kind reply T-T Second, I believe this "magical magnetism" might be different in this case, since Doremi found Mirai's house by hearing the sound of her blowpipes. Also, Doremi was conscious that she was walking somewhere she has never been before. Perhaps this is because Maho-DO is more connected to the witch world because of the portal presented at the backyard. But my favorite interpretation is that is a reference of Doremi growth, as she was walking around all upset that she couldn't use magic, while in that episode of Dokkan she was walking around just because she wanted to so. Additionally, its clear that loneliness issue of Doremi starts right there, as nobody have time to stay with her because of their responsibilities. In any case, it's particularly interesting this similar reference that Doremi founds Mirai's house as well she found Maho-DO. Doremi never found any other witch in the human world but Mirai and Majorika, so we cannot say if there's a logic behind that. Still, I appreciate this small slightly different way she founds Mirai as she found Majorika.
:D glad I could be of assistance! (out of curiosity, did these vids get linked to somewhere? :o Just wondering since I got two comments on this one in the same day, haha. I mean it's cool if they did, I'm just wondering :B)
