Hi Steve, great video. Just bought some stretcher pliers from your ebay store so look forward to receiving them soon and wrapping my own canvas's.
Thank you so much. I did it! It looks great!
Thanks awesome video! I'm stretching canvas like the pros thanks to you :)
Thanks from Texas!
Thank you! this helps a lot.
Great Video !!!!
He makes look really easy !!! Thank you!!
This is vary nice Idea,.... Thanku so much.
Thank you
Well explained!
good video on how to make corners
I am wondering on the use of the Canvass Pliers. The protruding head must be used downwards. But to look at the depth of the wood frame it may touch the center canvass cloth. Maybe that is why it is used updside down. The protruding head of the pliers is designed to act like the stopper on the wood when the canvass cloth is being stretched.
Awesome thank you!
yes very good
Good tutorial
can i ask what type of cloth do u use in this canvas ?
thank you
Thank you
You don't need canvas pliers or a hammer/mallet. I make these all day long at work and you can hand stretch these and they'll come out perfect. There's also a much easier way to do your corners!.
Test Wun I have question. I have a canvas that's 20 by 16 flat so what size frame should I get to Mount the canvas on it??
key words, you make these all day.
Then you should do a how to video of your own to show how its done right. (and I am not sure why you are watching someone elses how to video)

How do you do the corners?
where do you get the wedges and what kind of tape was that?
Does anyone have suggestions on what paper to use to do this?
Do you use stainless steel staples? Are they the size that fits an Arrow T-50 staple gun? Thanks for your answers. Ty
wondering a normal picture can be starch like a canvas? thanks
This is fucking awesome. Thanx
what sizes are the frame?
Do they always cut the edges off of the canvas print? I would think if one ever wanted to remove the canvas the image would therefore be ruined.
It has to be done but you will probably never want to remove the canvas print from the stretcher bars anyway.
+Fotoviva Art Prints you dont have to i never do just pull it tight. i also noticed he stapled across the mitre join avoid this as it stops the stretch properly .
It doesn't have to be done. If I had done this as a framer, I'd have been fired. Just stretch it tightly and staple it down. No reason to destroy the art. Especially if it's of any value. If for some reason you do have to stretch it again, you'll have to put it on a smaller frame if it's been cut.

Why do we need a mallet?
Is there a reason you used bubble wrap?
to stop the canvas print scratching on the desk.. reason why i use it anyway :z
Is canvas pliers really necessary? (I'm broke)
No they are not
Sir Is this a print on paper or canvas sheet?
It's thin canvas. Obviously, I didn't make the video, but I am an artist and have stretched canvas before. There is no way paper would do that.
So...why didn't you use the correct size stretchers? You lost at least 1 inch on the horizontal and about 2 inches on the vertical. This mistake made the whole process difficult to watch.
iyi güzelde bu kadar uğraşılmaz ki evirdi çevirdi sanki uçak yaptı
you lost me when you unnecessarily cut (destroyed) this print.
totally incompetent
Where is your video on how to do it then?
Not a pro at all!
Thank you
