The power bank is very helpful throughout the cruise vacation on the ship and also at ports. I happened to combine it with a small USB powered fan typically sold to attach to a laptop USB port. In my cruise cabin, the USB fan allows me to have directed airflow where I want it, even outside on my deck! Also, I use a phone case that includes magnets inside. On a cruise, this case lets me attach my phone on the wall near my bed. So, it's very handy to use as a morning alarm clock or a night light in the wee hours.
@@CruiseTipsTV no issues because it's relatively small and uses the USB power rather than the regular electrical outlet.. I think the cruise lines are more concerned about larger motor fans being used for extended periods of time in the cabin. It is advisable to use the USB fan for a while and then give the motor a break for a while as well.
My tips and stuff I use: 1. Noise cancelling headphones for flights and while in line waiting. 2. Zip lock bags for anything and everything. 3. Travel beverage containers that don’t leak. 4. High quality binoculars (8x42). 5. Essential oil mist diffuser. 6. Foil for food etc. 7. Extension chord with chargers. 8. Mini fold up backpack. Lastly, I simply don’t pack much, but happy to purchase something new and exciting onboard ❤
I like to pack my own hand soap and aerosol spray for the bathroom. Makes me feel like it is more homey. I also like packing headphones to use in the stateroom with my iPhone and iPad.
I never leave home without a metal water bottle. Contigo is my favorite brand. It has never leaked. Just use the cups provided in the buffet to refill it with ice and water. Something else that I always bring on cruises is a small crossbody or wristlet that is large enough to carry my phone and kindle when I’m on the ship. This way I’ll never lose either. You can also carry a few other small person items such as chapstick. I also affix a credit card holder on the back of my phone to carry my cruise card so it’s always handy.
Hello, I really enjoy all of your RUclips videos. The silicone set you put over your bottles I know with me being a senior citizen and low money. You can also use balloons just a tip. Have a blessed day and thank you for a beautiful job that you and your family do thank you so much.
These are great; many of which I already pack. Those bags are terrific and I am like you section off laundry, frist aid, and such ... when I get the where is this, I can say check the bag with the tucan on it.
Oh, thanks! I got it on amazon! www.amazon.com/shop/cruisetipstv/photo/amzn1.shoppablemedia.v1.9b10a905-9cc0-4045-a7ea-407f864bef49?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfphoto_aipsfcruisetipstv_RRK3Z19NEAJGRD1YVPY8
I can't travel without my sleep mask with bluetooth headphones built into it. It works great if you are trying to sleep in a noisy environment. Just download a music "song" meant for sleeping (or white noise) on your phone then use the headphones to listen to it.
And how often do you have to recharge your charging bank? I have a nice little disk size of a compact that has all the plugins with USB port in it that goes into my charger that never runs out because it's solar yes it's two things I have to carry but I know I will never be without a charger since it's solar-charged by the Sun by a lamp by a flashlight.
Smuggs Juggs were a stateroom essential for getting a little gin onboard to enjoy before bed on our balcony. 😉 Don't feel guilty since we spent plenty $$ onboard the ship.
How did you get into literally cruising and vlogging for a loving i guess or do you have other income streams or a job? Im huat curious. Thanks for the tips!!
Hi Mrs. Cruisetiptv. I have a question. You said that your plastic bottles were 3.4 ounces but I thought tsa only allowed 3 ounces of liquid bottles on a plane. Can you get away with 3.4 ounce bottle?

I’m a huge advocate of magnetic hooks and over the door organizers!

Awesome tips. Thank you so much for sharing. You haven’t had any issues with the fan been confiscated?

I love that phone charger and airplane phone holder. Such great items!!
Thanks- so glad they will be useful! 💗💗💗
a first aid kit.....just a small pouch with items specific to us. Plus bandages, alcohol wipes, etc....

Always great info and ideas!! Excited about our next trip in November!
Have fun! 🤩
Pop up laundry bag is a must!!
Agree! I always forgot to pack mine on non cruise trips and I’m miserable without it!
I just bring a garbage bag with me. Takes up no room in suitcase.
Brilliant, Sheri! I found several of these to be quite useful! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Magnetic hooks - 50-100lb strength - keeps the desktops clear of stuff
Just found the silicone bottle covers recently too! Had no leakages so far 😊
Nice!!
Appreciate your videos!
thank you! Appreciate you watching! Happy Friday!

It's a great non liquid option, especially when flying. Love your channel and hope to one day meet you on the high seas!@@CruiseTipsTV

They allow 3.4 ounces- here’s the website 💗

Make sure you do not buy the power bank that was recently recalled
