The sense of speed is absolutely beautiful. It's a necessity on every racing game. Unfortunately most games doesn't have a good sense of speed and without it, it's just dull.
Horizon series is missing this big time. I would love them to at least give you an option to get some kind of dynamic camera because at high speeds you really don't feel it as much as you should.
From my experience, a good chunk of this game's sense of speed comes from you being afraid to crash 😅 and same in My Summer Car
till this day I still think shift 2 had the best sense of speed
Thing is, you should get that sense of speed when going 200 mph, not 300
Play TT Isle of Man 2 to if you want real scary sense of speed.

@@blacktor1278 im afraid to drive even above 100 kmh in beamng just because of how the cars understeer or oversteer so badly.but i mean its realistic,some cars have immense understeer,others are hellishly oversteery,and also the sense of speed my god,it feels like you are going like 150 kmh ehen you are going like 100
maybe its also because of the crash physics which make you more cautious and more likely to loose a race,scenario etc

The song matches with practically everything, the sense of speed, the sense of the game, the rain, the nos when you press that little button pushing the car faster than before, the traffic dodging, all very crazy.
The FOV increase at high speeds is ridiculous in this game. It really makes it harder to see what’s in front of you especially when dodging rhinos and traffic cars

@@riptide5463 Actually they are right because this clip has the NFS Unite mod which comes with a graphical change. If you need more proof compare the original speedometer and the speedometer in the clip.

The most stressful thing in this game is when you’re going super fast and you know that you could run into any cars in your way. You can’t freely drive fast and I like the fact that there are npc cars in the way to make things more interesting

When I saw this video for the first time I was enchanted, I had no idea that NFS Heat looked so good, so I went to get 1 month of Xbox Game Pass for 1 dollar and... the game is amazing. I felt like a kid at the time when I played many games like Most Wanted, Underground and Midnight Club 3 as well. Unfortunately I don't have a powerful computer to run this game, but I played it through XCloud and it was perfect, it's been a long time since I've played an immersive racing game.
The best part is that the light of the helicopter can be as fast as the car over 300km/h

Project Unite did a total surgery on the game. It looks somewhat close to the gorgeous NFS 2016. Otherwise vanilla Heat looked like Payback without micro transaction.

Bro why does the sense of speed in Heat feel a whole lot more better than Unbound. I have over 100 hours in Heat and it’s gotta be my favorite modern NFS games. Once I get a PC I’m definitely going to buy it again and mod the game.
Looks better than Unbound when Heat has the Unite mod. Definitely a must download when I get a PC and the game in it in the future.
